We have big aspirations for the redevelopment of our estate, with St Mary’s, Charing Cross and Hammersmith hospitals all part of the government’s New Hospital Programme. We are looking for an experienced communications professional to lead on engaging and involving our diverse audiences in this once-in-a-generation programme, helping us deliver the very best for patients, staff and local communities.
You will be part of our dynamic, 20+-strong communications and engagement team in one of the largest NHS hospital teaching and research trusts in the UK. As well as ambitious plans for redevelopment, we’re committed to becoming more user-focused in everything we do – from developing new treatments and models of care to playing our full role in improving the health and wellbeing of our local communities.
Interviews are likely to take place either on Friday 15th December or Monday 18th December 2023.
We’re looking for someone who really wants to understand our audiences and has the ability to use their creativity as well as their analytical skills to build awareness, understanding and engagement. The role requires excellent, all-round communications skills and a proven track record in delivering impact and support. You will also need to be have experience of successfully navigating complex stakeholder environments and running public consultation or engagement programmes to support building or other major developments.
