About the Role

Instead, I am looking for someone who is interested in preparing financial data on Excel, supporting with the financial planning processes, cost projects, supporting the billing teams as well as looking at prepayments. A really great role and lots of career progression for the right person who isn't afraid to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in!

Your new role
In your new role as Finance Officer, you will be reporting to the MD and have a varied, well-rounded job involving all elements of transactional accounting. Credit control will also form part of your role, where you will liaise with customers via all forms of communication channels, posting invoices and credit notes. You will assist with the month end including accruals, prepayments, journal postings and VAT returns. This is a full time role working Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm.

What you'll need to succeed
As a successful candidate, you will have experience of working in a similar role previously, with a good understanding of accounting principles. You will have working knowledge of purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control, with a desire to expand your skill set and progress with this growing business. A good understanding of Excel is essential, with vlookups and pivot tables as a minimum. Experience of Sage is highly desirable.
