Our Dunvegan and Duncraggan Care Homes are a little over 2 miles apart- with minibus available to travel between sites.

Dunvegan is a classic Victorian villa in the heart of Cambuslang with 24 bedrooms, communal dining room, conservatory, two comfortable lounges and scenic gardens.

1. Laboratory duties

• Understanding of the experiment requirement and objectives.
• Preparation of laboratory equipment, apparatus, hardware, software for lab classes.
• Housekeep the laboratory after each laboratory session.
• Support the Lecturer for the laboratory sessions/workshops.

2. Responsible for laboratory inventory and procurement of laboratory materials and equipment

Responsibilities

• Mechanical knowledge and experience (Disassembling, assembling and overhaul of plant equipment and machinery (Such as Pumps, Compressor, Blower, Gear box, Agitator, Mechanical seal and Piping)
• Basic mechanical experience (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul work)
• Prepared to be on standby to respond to plant emergencies after office hours.
• An effective team player with excellent service attitude.
• Possess strong safety awareness.

Job Scope:

Assistant Engineer, Service - Test & Commissiong (High Voltage Equipment) - Ubi

• Install, commission, and test high voltage equipment.
• Calibrate equipment to meet specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair faults.
• Provide technical support and resolve customer issues.
• Train customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Prepare service reports and maintain records.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
• Suggest process improvements and product feedback.
• Implement best practices for service efficiency.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE.
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigate risks.

Assistant Engineer - Project Engineer (Senoko)

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for electrical systems.
• Review and approve electrical designs, schematics, and specifications.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and vendors.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during project execution.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports and updates.
• Communicate with clients to address concerns and provide project updates.
• Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Monitor and control project costs, ensuring adherence to budget.

Job Requirement:

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• Preferably to have Class 3 Driving License for Servicing role
