What you will do

As a Johnson Controls Security Service Technician, you will alleviate concerns the customer may have regarding a security system. You will advise customers and the customer care center of the status of systems and processes inspections. You will inspect fire systems, burglar alarm systems, CCTV, and access.

How you will do it

• Locate all devices and make sure they are in working order.
• Readjust equipment, repair, or replace inoperative equipment, and test for operation.
• Prepare inspection reports and create tickets for major repairs.
• Responsible for the inspection of commercial Security/Fire Alarm/CCTV/Card Access systems.

Application Engineer – Controls Pre-sales

What you will do

The primary responsibility for this role is to support pre-sales engineering for Building Automation System global projects as per country specific standards. Handling daily routine activities related to presales estimation support by preparing technical assessments. Basic knowledge about bill of material preparation, cost estimation to come up with competitive bid. Follow processes, maintain required quality standards and on time deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Review project inputs and specifications; should be able to capture the scope and understand the complete requirements of the project.
• Review MEP drawings, specification, SOP and identify HAVC equipment, dampers and sensors.

What you will do 

As a Fire Alarm Inspector you will Test and Inspect fire alarm systems with existing and new customer base. 

How you will do it 

•  Maintain proper documentation for work performed using tools provided

• Must adhere to company safety policies and procedures 

• Follow verbal and written instructions 

• Carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 70lbs 

• Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions; such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment 

• Must be able to work alternative shifts or weekends to meet customer needs 

• Must perform all duties in a safe and professional manner & maintain a clean and safe work area 

What we look for 

• Installation or Service Experience in testing and inspecting Fire Alarm Equipment. 

• Self-starter that can work with little or no supervision 

• Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and the ability to learn quickly 

• Capable of performing physical labor 

• Excellent communication skills 

• High School Diploma or Equivalent 

• Valid Driver’s License with good driving record 

• Ability to work well with others 

• Basic computer skills – Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook) along with Smartphone skills

What you will do:

Our Fire Sprinkler Install Technician performs the installation of fire protection piping, valves, and accessories for commercial and industrial application. Must be able to work alternative shifts or weekends to meet customer and/or job requirements. Must perform all duties in a safe and professional manner.

JD fo Retrofit Sales - Sustainability - HVAC

1. Should have the thorough knowledge of HVAC system (Central plant Air conditioning & Air side system)

2. Should have the ability to understand, benchmark and communicate the energy aspects of HVAC system

3. Deep understanding of energy usage in HVAC system and benchmark to establish the energy savings with right solution

4. Should be able to develop commercial proposal based on the Energy audit, detailed BOQ/BOM

5. Should know the key consultants in retrofit business in the region (South India)

6. Should be able to bring the sales from key domains such as, Hospitality, IT/ITES, Commercial Real estate, Industrial, Manufacturing and Healthcare segment.

7. Capability to develop new customers and grow on existing customers, focus on thinking process and sales methodology

8. Knowledge on competitors' products, weakness and strength is desirable

9. BEE certification, CEM, LEED certification will be an added advantage

What you will do

Perform HVAC Control systems programming, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning and preventative maintenance as it is related to mechanical, electrical, and low voltage controls components.

Respond to service and warranty calls using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools as well as a variety of hand tools including electrical testing meters and other electronic testing equipment.

Provide front line technical and repair support through effective communications with Johnson Controls customers.

Provide system repair and or update recommendations and assist in proposing of recommendations to Johnson Controls customers.

How you will do it

• Loading Johnson Controls field and network level controller software.
• Performing commissioning and system diagnostics for all levels of system controllers as well as end
• devices (i.e. Sensors, actuators, etc.) and complete all required commissioning documentation.
• Keeps management and JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress and issues.
• Calibrates systems requiring basic electronic test equipment.
• Completes administrative tasks including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.
• Documents changes and provides information for as-built documentation.
• Execute company sponsored as well as personally initiated training to insure the highest level of knowledge and capability are maintained
• Engage with customers to fully understand their systems and needs.
• Communicates with the JCI contractor or customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site.
• Follows all safety standards and attends required safety training. High degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety.

Required:

• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, sequence and applications
• Demonstrated technical aptitude in mechanical and electro-mechanical fields
• Able to use hand, power tools and electrical testing equipment such as a multi meter.
• Solid knowledge base in use of personal computers.
• Attention to detail.
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Ability to travel out of town, overnight within province.
• On-Call rotation.
