The Manager of General Accounting will be primarily responsible for US GAAP and RAS reporting and leading a team of professional accountants in executing daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly general accounting processes. Job Summary:

Role Summary:
The Disassemble, Clean, and Inspect (DCI) Technician is responsible for the methodical teardown and documentation of rotating equipment that has been received at the repair shop for repair. This critical role will work on a diverse range of rotating equipment including, but not limited to, BBx, OHx, vertical pumps, small compressors, Decoking equipment, and other high energy pumps. The DCI Technician may receive a technical package that includes drawings and other equipment specifications and then proceed to document their findings in an as-found report which is then used to determine the repair scope for the equipment. The DCI Technician must be very detail oriented and experienced in various failure modes to assist the engineering and estimating team determine an appropriate repair path for the equipment.
This will be a 2nd shift schedule from 4:30pm-1:00am (Monday through Friday). There will be a shift differential.

Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Planning Manager who effectively manages materials to meet enterprise inventory, order to delivery, lead time, and labor/manufacturing productivity targets. This includes management of the master production schedule to minimize cost and maximize plant performance. As well as, developing the planning team to perform long, medium, and short-range planning, govern master data, and utilize ERP systems for effective materials planning processes.
This position has dual reporting to plant management for local responsibilities and corporate materials management function to support all materials management planning initiatives and process standards.
Responsibilities:
Develop, manage, and coach planning team members
Oversee all materials planning processes (SIOP, Demand Management, MPS, MRP, Production Control, and Inventory management)
Develop effective materials strategy to support OTD ( order to delivery) and lead time targets with optimized inventory investment
Manage past due backlog, prepare recovery plans, overall reporting, and improvement projects
Ensure production schedules maximize utilization of manufacturing assets maintaining schedule adherence, OTD, past due backlog, and inventory targets
Ensure planning processes support corporate and facility initiatives
Align ERP plans with project management milestones
Manages inventory for POC (Percentage of Completion)
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
BS or BA Degree in a relevant field and 8-10 years of relevant experience
Minimum 7 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment using ERP systems in a material planning role.
Ability to manage large data sets (items, routings, BOMs, work centers) and interpret results Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, word, outlook)
Commercial-oriented and able to manage, analyze and interpret financial data Experienced in ERP systems (preferably SAP)
Solid leadership experience
Proven track record of leading continuous improvement activities
Preferred Experience / Skills:
Lean certification (green belt, black belt)
The pay range for this position is $116,755.93 - $175,133.90 Annual

Role Summary
The Application Engineer sees it all—design, manufacturing, installation and operation of our pumps and seals at our customers’ sites in the oil and chemical industries. In this challenging position the Application Engineer (AE) provides real-time technical support to our Lake Charles, LA customer, and provides recommendations for repairs, upgrades, and replacement equipment. The AE is actively engaged, Monday - Friday, in troubleshooting problems and implementing solutions onsite at a nearby customer facility and will attend one monthly meeting at our repair center in Port Arthur, TX.
This role takes place primarily in Lake Charles, LA.

Responsibilities:
Communicate the needs of customers to Flowserve and be the customers’ primary source of information regarding design, application, installation, operation, and maintenance of our centrifugal and liquid ring vacuum pumps, and mechanical seals.
Act as liaison between customers and Flowserve’s sales engineers, reliability engineers, customer service, and manufacturing.
Troubleshoot technical problems at our customers’ sites and in-house at our Flowserve Quick Response Repair Center.
Complete projects requiring both hands-on and mathematical approaches such as failure analysis reports, product performance reports, etc.
Evaluate reports and data to support recommendations for improvement, replacement, or repair of equipment.
Present clear verbal and written technical explanations to customers, tailoring content, and style to the audience.
Implement and administer the mechanical seal standardization and customer specification process.
Help organize and ensure monthly “Bad Actor” meetings to maintain visibility on equipment performance.
Provide technical guidance about successful installation and operation of our products, ensuring that standardized installation procedures are followed.
Maintain data regarding customers’ equipment and parts inventories, responding with appropriate actions regarding inventory reduction and consolidation.
Maintain data in engineering systems; process engineering change notices; submit corrective action reports; and maintain current, accurate, organized files.
Help conduct technical training as needed for our customers.
Requirements:
BS Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical degree required.
Must have a strong customer focus and project a positive corporate image.
Must be a team player, able to problem-solve and work with constructively with customers and co-workers.
Good organizational skills, able to establish priorities and work to specific deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Computer literate and savvy.
Local travel using personal vehicle, and some overnight travel required.
Some physical activity required (e.g., walking large customer sites, and ascending/descending ladders and staircases in multi-story facilities).
May be required to meet certain medical and physical requirements to perform duties on customer operating facilities.
Preferred:
Knowledge of the design, materials, and operational requirements of mechanical seals and rotating equipment, especially centrifugal and liquid ring vacuum pumps.
In-plant operations experience highly desired.
All levels of experience will be considered, including new grads and mid-career.
