Role Summary:
The Precision Assembler will be responsible for the preparation of assembly work and documentation. This position will also assemble a variety of equipment and tools and perform test requirements.

Additionally, the Precision Assembler will be responsible for the disassembly, cleaning, inspecting and reassembly during any repair process. This person will have access to the most modern materials and tools at our facility to accomplish these expectations to ensure the delivery of a high-quality product to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Complete assemblies according to drawings, instructions, and work orders, performing testing when required.
• Demonstrates an advanced understanding of inspection equipment, their functions and uses to ensure that all parts and assemblies are within specifications.
• Ensure all parts and components are clean prior to assembly and that assemblies are completed properly, following all assembly procedures.
• Follow all safety procedures, and wear required personal safety equipment.
• Operate various precision measuring tools, i.e. micrometers, vernier, and CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines), in a warehouse environment, as well as hand tools, i.e. hydraulic torque wrench and fire torch.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within assembly.
• Have a sharp eye for detail and a results-oriented approach.
• Capable of calculating basic mathematical functions including computation of rate, ratio, and percent and to convert one type of measurement into another.
• Participate in CIP activities as needed and comply with all Flowserve policies and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints and technical drawings safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Role Summary:

This role is part of the site Order Engineering team responsible for selecting and designing instrumentation for equipment packages in accordance with customer order specifications, national and international standards, and internal procedures.  The incumbent coordinates and plans the work with other engineering functions in order to meet the complete and on time issue of contractual documents. The Finance Business Partner Manager position works closely with the Plant Manager, the site and group leadership team to drive key initiatives and help the Company achieve its goals and maximize returns on investments. The role uses data and analysis as a strategic asset to provide decision support, accurate planning, forecasting, operational productivity and investment analysis. The Manager of General Accounting will be primarily responsible for US GAAP and RAS reporting and leading a team of professional accountants in executing daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly general accounting processes. Role summary:

As a Travel & Entertainment and Procurement Card Auditor you will verify and audit expense reports submitted by Flowserve employees against company policy to ensure compliance and you would also be responsible for transferring these data to the local ERPs. Job Summary:

Flowserve is looking for a technically and commercially experienced salesperson. In this function you will develop solutions for customers and partners for industrial and special applications - pump product portfolio. 

You will act as a product specialist in a team and work closely with the sales, development, and other specialist departments at the site.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare quotations by evaluating customers pump requirements and provide quotation responses by sizing, specifying and pricing pumps in accordance with customers specifications.

• Prepare technically sound and cost-effective quotations, in order to contribute to obtaining related sales and bookings growth.

• Prepare detailed, complete and correct purchase order transfer files for proper transfer into our respective manufacturing operations.

• Usage of Flowserve software like Affinity, FlowForce, etc...

• If required, join sales for bid clarification meetings with the customers (international travel required).

• Develop a keen understanding of the Flowserve pump product lines and their respective operations to enhance application engineering, quotation generation and sales support efforts.

• Develop collaborative relationships with respective Flowserve sales and operations’ organizations to more effectively coordinate booking’s growth and resolve issues for the duties of assigned role.

• Comply with Corporate goals, objectives and policies.

• Communicate effectively with other team members in Commercial Operations to maximize the knowledge transfer within the team.

• Assist and train junior application engineer colleagues to support on-the-job development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from university in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or similar

• Min. 3 years of work experience as application- or project engineer

• Ability and agility to learn fast, especially to correctly size, select and offer pump solutions

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, MS Teams etc.)

• Detailed oriented and able to work in a quick paced environment, while prioritizing daily requests and balancing customers' requirements

• Willingness to continually learn and expand understanding of pump products to more effectively size, select, apply and sell technical and engineered pump solutions

Role Summary:

The Disassemble, Clean, and Inspect (DCI) Technician is responsible for the methodical teardown and documentation of rotating equipment that has been received at the repair shop for repair.  This critical role will work on a diverse range of rotating equipment including, but not limited to, BBx, OHx, vertical pumps, small compressors, Decoking equipment, and other high energy pumps.  The DCI Technician may receive a technical package that includes drawings and other equipment specifications and then proceed to document their findings in an as-found report which is then used to determine the repair scope for the equipment.  The DCI Technician must be very detail oriented and experienced in various failure modes to assist the engineering and estimating team determine an appropriate repair path for the equipment.

This will be a 2nd shift schedule from 4:30pm-1:00am (Monday through Friday). There will be a shift differential.

Responsibilities:

• Follow instructions given in pre-job briefings and complete all checklists, routers, and procedures.
• Clean each part to be reused and documenting the condition of components
• Use hand torches and liquid nitrogen when appropriate in the teardown process.
• Disassemble products to repair or replace defective materials or worn parts and make other repairs, as necessary.
• Inspect components and assemblies accurately and precisely, and clearly record the results of these inspections.
• Remove visible dirt, grit oil, grease, and other foreign matter from pump product parts, prior to assembly.
• Frequently apply primer and finish coatings to the exterior of pump products and parts using spray equipment.
• Operate various precision measuring tools.
• Take pictures to document condition and process.
• Participate and adhere to the implementation and use of appropriate reporting and operating systems, manufacturing, and quality processes.
• Participate and report quality related problems. Report deviations, ensure creation of Non-Conformity Reports and execute corrective actions identified.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with production planners and customers to discuss the component and pump conditions
• Coordinate and interface with sales, operations, engineers, and customers as necessary.
• Exhibit behavior that encourages teambuilding, decision-making, problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Experience as a rotating machinery mechanic.
• Must have personal set of mechanic's tools, micrometers, and roll-around toolbox.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift objects up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work overtime hours including weekends and holidays.

Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Planning Manager who effectively manages materials to meet enterprise inventory, order to delivery, lead time, and labor/manufacturing productivity targets. This includes management of the master production schedule to minimize cost and maximize plant performance. As well as, developing the planning team to perform long, medium, and short-range planning, govern master data, and utilize ERP systems for effective materials planning processes.

This position has dual reporting to plant management for local responsibilities and corporate materials management function to support all materials management planning initiatives and process standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and coach planning team members

• Oversee all materials planning processes (SIOP, Demand Management, MPS, MRP, Production Control, and Inventory management)

• Develop effective materials strategy to support OTD ( order to delivery) and lead time targets with optimized inventory investment

• Manage past due backlog, prepare recovery plans, overall reporting, and improvement projects

• Ensure production schedules maximize utilization of manufacturing assets maintaining schedule adherence, OTD, past due backlog, and inventory targets

• Ensure planning processes support corporate and facility initiatives

• Align ERP plans with project management milestones

• Manages inventory for POC (Percentage of Completion)

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• BS or BA Degree in a relevant field and 8-10 years of relevant experience

• Minimum 7 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment using ERP systems in a material planning role.

• Ability to manage large data sets (items, routings, BOMs, work centers) and interpret results Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, word, outlook)

• Commercial-oriented and able to manage, analyze and interpret financial data Experienced in ERP systems (preferably SAP)

• Solid leadership experience

• Proven track record of leading continuous improvement activities

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Lean certification (green belt, black belt)

The pay range for this position is $116,755.93 - $175,133.90 Annual ​

Role Summary

The Application Engineer sees it all—design, manufacturing, installation and operation of our pumps and seals at our customers’ sites in the oil and chemical industries.  In this challenging position the Application Engineer (AE) provides real-time technical support to our Lake Charles, LA customer, and provides recommendations for repairs, upgrades, and replacement equipment.  The AE is actively engaged, Monday - Friday, in troubleshooting problems and implementing solutions onsite at a nearby customer facility and will attend one monthly meeting at our repair center in Port Arthur, TX.

This role takes place primarily in Lake Charles, LA.
