· Support the Research and Development (R&D) department by contributing to the development and application of raw materials.
· Collaborate with the Purchasing Department to identify and acquire new raw materials or flavors essential for new product development.
· Conduct quality control (QC) assessments, including sensory and visual inspections, as well as raw materials checks, on all finished products from the raw material manufacturing line and do corrective action when need on non-conforming product.
· Uphold laboratory and Pilot Plant cleanliness through general housekeeping.
· Aid in the operation and upkeep of the Food Safety Management System, ensuring accurate documentation.
· Innovate new raw materials and recipe concepts to enhance product offerings.
· Enhance existing raw materials through modification and improvement initiatives.
· Design and implement processes and machinery to facilitate the scaling up of operations from laboratory to production scale.
· Maintain meticulous records of experiments, formulations, and results, and compile comprehensive reports.
· Fulfill any additional responsibilities delegated by supervisors as needed.
Requirement:
- At least 1 year and above in food industry / manufacturing (with experience in extruder or spray dryer is an advantage)
- Minimum Diploma in Food
- Able to work overtime when necessary
