Position Summary...
What you'll do...
Creates instructional materials and content based on identified needs including designing presentations, writing scripts/storyboards, developing e-learning modules, or creating multimedia such as short videos, graphics, and interactive activities.
Designs and develops training materials, communications, and operational processes identified through knowledge and performance gaps and from scoping needs of the business with stakeholders.
Coordinates meetings with project teams to analyze, plan, design, develop, and implement training deliverables.
Implements L&D development standards and governance by adhering to processes for managing tasks, projects, information, content development and program maintenance.
Validates training content with subject matter experts, project requestors, stakeholders, and L&D team members to ensure accuracy.
Works cross functionally to proactively maintain relationships, align development timelines and ensure progress updates with leadership, key stakeholders, and team members throughout the design process.
Enhances the learner experience by ensuring content is engaging and provides practical application scenarios.
Monitors the latest trends, research, and best practices in instructional design and adult learning, and collaborating with members of the design team through internal discussions and projects involving process improvement, innovative thinking, design cohorts, etc.
Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.
You will sweep us off your feet if you have experience with:
- Instructional Design
- Content Creation
- E-Learning Design
- Providing Facilitation Guidance to the instructor-led content you create
- Creating engaging content with a balance of visual aids and text
- Video production experience is a huge plus (including online animation platforms like vYond)
- Articulate 360 or Storyline
