IT Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and continuity of critical IT infrastructure components. This role involves assessing risks, implementing resilience strategies, and promoting sustainable practices within the IT domain.
Responsibilities:
1. Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
* Evaluate vulnerabilities in IT infrastructure (networks, servers, databases, Cloud etc.).
* Identify potential system failures and assess their impact.
* Develop and implement risk mitigation plans.
2. Resilience Planning and Strategy:
* Collaborate with IT teams to create a comprehensive resilience strategy.
* Define recovery objectives, response protocols, and business continuity plans.
* Ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
3. Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity (BC):
* Design and maintain DR and BC plans for critical IT systems.
* Conduct regular drills and simulations to validate readiness.
* Coordinate recovery efforts during incidents.
4. Incident Response and Communication:
* Lead incident response efforts during disruptions.
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including management and end-users.
* Provide timely updates and transparent communication.
5. Performance Metrics and Reporting:
* Establish KPIs to measure infrastructure resilience.
* Regularly report on performance, incidents, and improvements.
* Use data-driven insights to enhance resilience strategies.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (master’s preferred).
• Proven experience in IT infrastructure management, cybersecurity, or disaster recovery.
• Familiarity with industry standards
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to balance technical and business considerations.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow.
• Strong documentation and presentation skills.
• Should be good at creating Runbooks.
