Job Description
Duties:
- Act as a domain specialist for advisory, review, and approval of security designs, configurations, baselines, and technical standards.
- Assess the efficiency of cloud security controls i.e. data protection, IAM, detective controls, infrastructure security, incident response, and report risk to the security management and risk register. Work on identifying and driving the implementation of appropriate controls, processes, and remediation of non-compliance.
- Provide security advisory services to Information Security / IT on projects & general support matters.
- Lead the collaboration between Information Security and Technology Cloud teams to support cloud security programs.
- Work with partners, IT, and Businesses to align cloud security standards with business goals and objectives.
- Contribute and execute on security strategy, drive cloud security projects, and ensure implementation and transition to operational support.
- Assist in research, design, and advocate new technologies, architectures, and security products that will support cloud-driven initiatives.
Assists security Incident Response and forensic teams in the investigation as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related technical field
- Must have the following certifications: CISSP, CISA or CISM; AWS Certified Solutions Architect; and AWS Certified Security
- Must have 10 years of progressive experience in IT positions performing the following:
- Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of firewalls, switches, and routers
- Developing and implementing new security policies and configuration, to maintenance of existing systems.
- Developed complex designs to ensure high availability, load balancing, traffic sharing, dynamic routing, and fail over.
- Conducting Disaster recovery drills and following best practices for network operations and security.
- Auditing and analyze 3rd party firewall vendor configuration and Migrations.
- Must have 4 years of experience with:
- Running enterprise-wide initiatives and applying understanding all domains of security
- IT Security assessment and review and design and implementation of security policies and configurations
- Cloud delivery platforms IaaS/PaaS/SaaS and providers, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft, and Oracle
- Demonstrating proficiency with: Checkpoint firewall, Juniper srx cluster, Palo Alto PAN, Load balancers, cisco routers, panorama, routing protocols, zscaler, and SMIE tools.
- Position may be eligible to work hybrid/remotely but is based out of and reports to Invesco offices in Houston, TX. Must be available to travel to Houston, TX regularly for meetings and reviews with manager and project teams within 24-hours’ notice.
