Duties and Responsibilities

PROJECT WORK

• Execute and co-ordinate all activities under the job holder’s responsibility
• Where assigned, support the Discipline Lead Engineer variously, such as:

1. Defining project scope, schedule and resources
2. Establish discipline deliverables, interface definition and coordination
3. Define and perform monitoring, control and reporting of progress

• Where assigned, perform various Package Engineering activities, such as:

1. Preparation of technical documentation (data sheets, requisitions, bid evaluation, technical reports, equipment criticality rating, ) towards procurement of mechanical equipment and packages from suppliers and vendors

3. Minimize waivers, or mitigate impact from waivers on schedule and cost
4. Conduct surveillance of vendor activities e.g., kick-off meetings, progress monitoring and expediting, equipment testing.
5. Mechanical Completion: take part in site supervision of construction, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities
6. Participate in studies and reviews e.g., HAZOP, Model Reviews.
