The Role
We have a full-time, permanent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our carpet tile operation, at our Breakwater site.
Reporting to the shift supervisor, you will be using our machinery to produce our carpet tiles, as well as packing them to get them ready for despatch. Ideally, this role will also help with loading our finished product using our electric counterbalance forklifts. Machine Operator, duties:
Manufacturing machinery and parts for plant using workshop techniques
Setting and operating a range of machines including bending equipment, hydraulic press, wire machine and band saw.
Using engineering drawings to measure and mark material for shaping and bending
Plan the work required to complete the job, selecting appropriate machine, and loading safely

Machine Operator, requirements:
Ideally you will have completed an apprenticeship or have an engineering qualification such as Mechanical Engineering level 1, 2 or 3 and rates of pay will depend on level and experience
