Information technology plays a key role in supporting the OALM mission. OALM is the functional owner of many small and large IT systems that provide services to the NIH community and beyond, as well as providing stewardship and assurance of data within these systems. The IT Specialist will provide technical support for management of OALM IT products and services and support OALM digital transformation.
If selected, some of your responsibilities may include:
- Defining, planning, and directing the analysis and development of complete computer systems, web/cloud applications, automated solutions, or the implementation of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software.
- Performing needs analyses to define opportunities for new or improved business process solutions.
- Planning, coordinating, and performing systems design and development of low-code to moderately complex IT systems.
- Providing assistance in the managing the inventory and attributes of the OALM products and services.
- Developing and making presentations on project status and technical issues.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and Azure DevOps, as well as experience with one or more of the following languages: C#, .NET Framework, Python, Java, JavaScript, JQuery, JSON, Bootstrap, CSS3, HTML5, XML, SQL, RESTful Service, OData, Web Services, Angular JS, and CAML Query for SharePoint.
