Riverside is currently seeking a Senior Clinical Director of Operations for our growing Medical Group.
This dynamic leader will work alongside our providers and senior leaders to ensure accordance with our standards of excellence as we fulfill our mission to care for others as we would care for those we love!
You will have direct oversight of clinical operations in our 110 medical practices throughout Southeastern Virginia, ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional patient centered care and fulfill our mission!
What you will do
- Ensure that activities align with strategic goals of improving care and experience for patients. Provide oversight and management of accreditation and clinical operations.
- Ensure that initiatives for safety and patient experience are developed and effectiveness measured for desired outcomes.
- Advise and assist with analysis of patient satisfaction data to ensure quality services are delivered to our customers. Monitor and report out the patient satisfaction data monthly to Department heads, others as needed. Work with quality teams within the Health System to ensure the questions used in the survey are reflected correctly on the RHS Scorecard.
- Participate in short and long-term planning, including development and achievement of goals and objectives for each center in accordance with RMG goals and objectives.
- Responsible for leadership of the value analysis team (VAT) related to patient care supplies and equipment.
- Assure compliance with mandatory staff education in accordance with RMG standards (i.e. OSHA, CLIA, Blood borne Pathogens, DNV, and HIPAA).
- Coordinate, manage, and implement the student programs with affiliating schools/universities. Schedule fieldwork affiliations. Act as a liaison between student/clinical instructor/ACCE of school/RRI. Facilitate communication, monitor progress and provide feedback. Identify and assign appropriate clinical instructors for fieldwork affiliations. Assist in developing staff to assume student supervisory roles.
- Participate with the members of RMG/RHS leadership, governing boards, councils, and executive teams in order to assist or provide input and direction in the development of the Business Plans and Strategic initiatives, Goals and Objectives and Evaluation/Integration of Care and Services into and with related RHS Services.
- Demonstrate positive leadership skills through supportive behaviors that include developing/educating staff on policies/procedures/best practices/strategic goals.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelors Degree, Nursing (Required)
- Masters Degree, Nursing (Preferred)
Experience
- 5-6 years Recent relevant experience at the manager level or above (Required)
- 3-4 years Supervisory experience (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) - State Department of Health Professions Upon Hire(Required)
