We are currently seeking a Clinical Director to lead a dedicated team of 11 Veterinary Surgeon's and 15 RVN's at a RCVS accredited small animal practice in Eastbourne. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced leader with a passion for both clinical excellence and administration. You will play a pivotal role in guiding and supporting clinical teams whilst also managing key administrative responsibilities, with the full backing of a senior leadership team.

You will be joining a progressive and forward-thinking team at East Sussex's leading veterinary centre. For over 70 years, our client has been Eastbourne's largest and most respected veterinary practice. Their commitment to high standards of clinical care and exceptional client service has earned them an excellent reputation in the community. They operate across four sites, with three branch surgeries feeding into their central Eastbourne practice, which also houses an independent referral orthopaedic practice.

They have an interesting caseload and work to a very high clinical standard with the aid of some fantastic equipment including digital X-Ray, Ultrasound, ECG, digital Tonopen, dental X-ray and separate dog, cat, rabbit, and isolation wards!

You will be responsible for all clinical issues on a day-to-day basis, you would offer clinical support to the branch manager and your colleagues, along with mentorship to the new graduates. This is an excellent opportunity for you to show case your skills and experience.

The practice is well-equipped with the latest in technology including an in-house laboratory, a modern operating theatre, dedicated consult rooms, ultrasound, digital x-ray, blood pressure testing, dentistry and separate cat and dog wards, along with multi parameter monitoring.

The successful candidate will be a practical, pragmatic individual with advanced clinical skills and who enjoys working in a team and supporting all its members. With a strong work ethic and a caring approach to patients and their owners, you will be committed to delivering excellent customer care.

Ideally you will have 4/5 years' plus experience with a certificate in medicine, although this is not essential.

The Rota:
• Full time role - 4 day week
• 1:5 OOH rota - equally shared (Usually 1 in 7) with generous time off in lieu
