To provide a clinical fellow service to patients of the dermatology service; providing dermatology research assessment and to take part in commercial and non-commercial clinical trials at Royal London Hospital and Whipps Cross University Hospital (Barts Health NHS Trust). This is an exciting post for doctors finishing Foundation training, or to ST1-2 level physicians who wish to gain

Main Duties
▪ Involvement in day-to-day inpatient management under the direction of the
trauma surgeon of the week.

An opportunity has arisen to join the critical care audit team within the critical care facilities in the Bart’s Heart Centre. The Critical Care Audit Team forms part of a larger Cardiac Audit Programme within the organisation.

A Critical Care Audit Nurse will be expected to work constructively within the audit team in order to collect, collate and evaluate data relating to patients from their hospital admission to their status following hospital discharge. You will be expected to assist in the delivery of the audit programme and ensure that the data quality meets national standards and regulations. As part of the Critical Care Audit team, you will be performing data analysis, monitoring performance indicators and supporting further service developments.

Here at Barts Heart Centre we have 10 cath labs that provide treatment for patients undergoing a variety of elective procedures, interventional, electrophysiology and TAVI. Our cardiac catheter labs also support our nationally recognised emergency heart attack, arrhythmia and structural pathways. We also provide specialist cardiology services for heart failure, endocarditis, grown up congenital heart and inherited cardiac conditions.

quality care in our 25 bedded Specialist Cardiology
Ward at St.Bartholomew’s site. Ward 6D manages
patients with cardiology conditions such as Heart
Failure, Endocarditis, Congenital heart diseases
(GUCH), Inherited & General arrhythmias, Valvular
diseases and Cardiomyopathy. 6D works closely with
other inpatient cardiology departments including the
emergency Hear Attack Centre catering for 40 bedded
Coronary Care Unit. We have 24/7 catheterisation labs
offering world renowned emergency care to cardiology
patients.

Bracken ward is a Gastroenterology and Acute Medical ward at Whipps Cross University Hospital. The ward has 17 beds 11 of which are dedicated to Gastro patients.

The ward is now in the position to offer the right candidate the chance to join the team as a Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse. The ward has a strong dynamic team that provide the highest standard of care to a group of patients with a wide range of Gastro issues and conditions.

We are looking for the right person to come and join the team. The right candidate will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to work within the team whilst also supporting colleagues. The post-holder will be required to be a team leader for a group of staff on a daily basis. The ward can be challenging due to the acuity and complexity of our patients but also very rewarding.
