Partnership

• Maintain and develop strategic and meaningful collaborations and working relationships with corporate partners and individuals.
• Communicate with internal or external stakeholders in alignment to the SAMS Vision and Mission (which includes but does not limit to corporate, schools and other SSA) to give public awareness talks.
• Plan, organise and coordinate fundraising initiatives and events through the different marketing channel.
• Manage donors’ database, ensure accountability of donations received, and update fundraising status accordingly.
• Assist with supporting / coordinating Parents Support Group (PSG).
• Recruit and manage volunteers in activities and programmes.
• Plan and execute CSR activities to maintain and strengthen relationship with the different stakeholders.
• Prepare and issue general correspondence and acknowledgment letters to the various stakeholders and keep accurate records of fundraising activities.
• Handle public enquiries for donation, donation-in-kind, sponsorships and community projects
• Act as an ambassador/ representative for SAMS, representing the organisation at external networking events which includes cheque presentations and talks.
• Undertake any other duties as assigned

Job Holder's Requirement and Attributes

• Degree / Diploma in marketing, public relations, mass communication, journalism or related disciplines
• 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in community relations, public relations, corporate communication or marketing communication
• Resourceful, creative, proactive, possess a positive attitude and can-do spirit, has a strong sense of responsibility
• Solid knowledge and strong skills in publication, production and/or design software and video editing tools

Key Responsbilities

Content Strategy: Develop and implement content strategies aligned with overall marketing objectives. Conduct research on industry trends, market dynamics and target audience insights to inform strategy and execution

Content Creation and Management: Oversee the creation of high-quality written, visual, and multimedia content, including articles, news bytes, videos and social media posts. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including subject matter experts to produce compelling content. Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in style, tone, and voice to bring out the essence and purpose of NUS Computing

Content Distribution and Promotion: Develop and execute content distribution strategies to maximize reach and engagement. Manage social media channels, email campaigns, and other distribution channels to amplify reach

Campaign Strategy: Develop comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with the strategic goals and target audience of NUS School of Computing

Campaign Execution: Implement and manage digital campaigns across multiple channels, including but not limited to website, social media, TV Display and email marketing

Collaboration: Collaborate with the broader NUS School of Computing community to integrate content into overall marketing efforts and initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field
• 8+ years of experience in branding and marketing with a proven track record of creating and executing successful content strategies and digital campaigns
• Creative thinking and problem solving ability, with a results-driven mindset
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity
• Familiar with audience targeting and personalised touch points related to various outreach programs (internal and external)
• Good knowledge of developing messages with unified narratives which will differentiate a global educational institution
• In depth knowledge of CMS, email marketing, digital marketing channels, tools and techniques including but not limited to social media
