The Regional Senior Operations Manager (RSOM) supports a Regional Vice President by providing leadership and strategies for cafe operations in an assigned Region by analyzing key operational insights and trends and developing strategies to optimize and grow retail operations and increase their region’s ability to improve the guest experience.
The RSOM assesses, analyzes and diagnoses the operational environment through insights derived from scorecards, Brand Standards Reviews, Missions and other data. The RSOM partners with the RVP to develop a prioritized mitigation and improvement plan, which will be executed by the Region’s operators (e.g., DROs, GMs) and market support teams to improve cafe outcomes.
The RSOM role may require working some evenings and weekends and includes up to 85% travel based on business needs and reports directly to the RVP.

Manager, Media Billing
The media team manages Panera’s paid media efforts in conjunction with planning/buying agencies. The Media Billing Manager oversees and reports on annual paid media budget plan, as well as overall Marketing program spend. This position will require flexibility to work cross-functionally across Media and Finance, as well as Marketing leadership and external agency partners. This position is fully embedded within the media team and will be the liaison between Marketing and Finance.

Duties & Responsibilities
Media
• Direct report to VP, Media Strategy, responsible for management of annual media budget in alignment with strategic initiatives.
• Manage one team member responsible for paid media budget input, plan adjustments, monthly accruals, and reconciliation.
• Utilize budget reporting tools to manage ongoing current year forecast and actualized spend reporting for prior years.
• Consolidate year-over-year Media spend reporting as a resource for Financial Planning & Analysis to generate café comp projections.
• Function as liaison between internal team and external agencies to establish financial reporting requirements, resolve billing discrepancies, actualize post-campaign forecast.
• Issue monthly invoice rollup Accounting Reports to Finance for forecast updates and Accounts Payable input.
• Manage annual agency fees budgets/accruals/forecasting.
• External supplier liaison (cloud-based budget management tool). Initiate change orders and resolve reporting discrepancies.
Program Spend
• Work directly with VP, Media Strategy and Finance Manager to develop $200M+ annual Marketing budget in alignment with sales projections.
• Maintain ongoing plan adjustments budget tracker for monthly reconciliation with final forecast.
• Realign spend levels on monthly basis based on actualized café sales.
• Educate new Marketing leaders (budget owners) on monthly forecast process and timelines.
• Identify monthly forecast discrepancies by category and communicate proposed resolution to budget owners.
• Collaborate with Finance Manager to validate financial reporting entries, realign forecast, achieve year-end spend goals/carryover reporting in compliance with auditing standards.
• Submit monthly year-over-year spend reporting to V.P., Media Strategy.
• Rollup reporting of Marketing spend for quarterly presentation by VP, Media Strategy to franchise leadership.
• Ad hoc budget reporting requests for Research, Analytics, Field Marketing, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Auditing.

Job Purpose
The Manager, Benefits Infrastructure supports the design, implementation, administration, communication and delivery of all benefit programs. This role manages the analysis of daily benefit systems performance, system and program design and implementation along with management of vendor integrations and invoices, building and maintaining relationships with vendor partners, and monitoring service level agreements.
Together with the Senior Manager, this role will have varying degrees of responsibility for compliance with reporting requirements related to benefit programs, such as Affordable Care Act (ACA) measurement. Also, the role will ensure that all plan-related documentation is produced according to federal and state requirements and distributed to associates appropriately (SPDs, SBCs, etc.) Participate in the planning, testing and data integrity of open enrollment processes.
This position will provide required workforce and other data analytics needed to assist leadership in making fully informed decisions relative to benefit programs. Analysis that may be necessary to guide the development and implementation of specific projects may also be directed to this position. This role will maintain an ongoing relationship with HRIS Systems and IT support teams.
