This attorney will interact with high-level executives and have a front row seat to Salesforce's most interesting strategic transactions.
This role is open to qualified applicants located in Atlanta or Indianapolis, and will report to the VP & Associate General Counsel, M&A Legal, based in San Francisco. Our team adopts a hybrid work model with a minimum of three days a week in our breathtaking, collaborative offices and up to two flexible remote work days a week.
Supporting Corporate Development in M&A activities globally in a substantive fashion and without extensive supervision
Working closely with Corporate Development and other functional groups in all stages of acquisitions, including term sheet negotiations, deal structuring, running deal processes, drafting and negotiating definitive documents, closing deals and addressing post-closing integration and indemnification issues
Leading the legal due diligence process in acquisitions, coordinating with other legal partners, and communicating findings, risks and solutions to senior leadership
Assisting development of legal strategy across Salesforce’s acquisition portfolio
Driving continuous improvements, scalability and operational excellence in deal processes and execution
Managing outside counsel
Assisting the broader Strategic Transactions legal team on other high priority tasks and matters, including investments and portfolio company exits
3-6 years of legal experience primarily in M&A (buy-side preferred; strategic acquiror experience is a plus)
Exposure to deals, investments, and companies in multiple jurisdictions and across time zones
Highly responsive and service-oriented attitude
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and manage workloads to meet deadlines in an exciting and fast-paced environment
In-depth knowledge of corporate, securities, and contract law
Experience with technology, software and SaaS companies is a plus
Excellent legal and business judgment
Experience independently negotiating complex strategic transactions

Salesforce is looking for proven, talented, energetic, Account Executives responsible for managing a high volume of opportunities to grow our Net Zero Cloud business. The Account Executive role focuses exclusively on selling Net Zero Cloud, which is our industry-leading solution to help our customers accelerate climate action. The Account Executive will formulate and execute a sales strategy within an assigned territory. This strategy will include a programatic approach to building pipeline and closing deals. You will drive revenue growth by sourcing new customers as well as penetrating the current Salesforce customer base by partnering with BDRs and the Core Sales Teams.
You will work as a trusted advisor to deeply understand the unique business challenges and goals of the customer. You will consult with customers on the Salesforce Net Zero Cloud solution to promote accelerated climate action. This is accomplished by participating and leading client meetings or engaging other corporate resources as required, as well as participating in regional forecast calls and account planning sessions. Accurately forecasting sales activity and revenue while creating satisfied and reference-able customers are key responsibilities within the Net Zero Cloud AE position.
You will contribute to our business growth in a fast paced, collaborative and fun atmosphere, as a valued member of our growing Salesforce family.
There are multiple roles available with varying scope but you have at least years of quota carrying software sales experience. Experience in the Sustainability software space is helpful.
Meet and exceed an annual sales quota
Lead a full-lifecycle sales process, prospecting via phone, email, referrals, LinkedIn, Salesforce relationships, partners, etc.
Identify appropriate business contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline and manage accounts/contacts within Salesforce.com
Engage in technical discussions with potential clients through product demonstrations and presentations with Director, VP, and C Level prospects
Establish and maintain long-term relationships to maximize future revenue opportunities and match our sales process with customer buying processes
Able to be in territory as needed (up to 1-2 times per month)
Maintain account and opportunity forecasting within our internal salesforce system
