At a glance
We are looking for a Finance Assistant (3 month Contract) with the right skill sets and background to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity if you would like to gain exposure in accounts and administration.
About the role
Reporting to the Singapore Accountant, this is a multi-skilled position that contributes to Chope’s Finance team through the timely and efficient management of invoices, customer payments, suppliers, bank reconciliation, systems and other related transactions.
- Responsible for recording daily customer payments in the ERP system.
- Maintain accurate records about the customer payments. Communicate to customers via emails, phone calls or messages when customer payments can’t match to invoices.
- Prepare and send monthly SOA to customers via ERP system.
- Reply customers’ inquiries about invoices, customer payments and SOA.
- Record corporate credit card transactions including supplier invoices and payments in the ERP system.
- Conduct weekly and monthly bank reconciliation.
- Handle other ad-hoc assignments.
What Are We Looking For?
- Minimum Diploma in Accounting/Business Administration or similar discipline.
- At least 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
- Willing to work hard in a fast-paced environment and have a lot of fun!
- Able to meet tight deadlines and produce accurate and detailed work with quick turnaround.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to use NetSuite is a plus.
- Contract until end of Dec'23
