Main purpose of job

• Responsible for SEA accounting and finance functions

Accountabilities

1. SEA accounting and finance functions

• Responsible for effective accounting operations and governance;
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual closing to ensure all financial and management reporting deadlines are met;
• Provide senior management with budgets and periodic forecasts, including bookings, sales, margins, SG&A, EBITDA and working capital;
• Run annual budgets and forecasts, including the roll-out of regular re-forecasting cycles and processes;
• Developing, coordinating, and reporting budgets and forecasts for individual departments;
• Operating performance for the upcoming month, quarter and year;
• Leading, training and guiding finance team to achieve company goals; and
• Ensure adequate and effective internal control systems are in place and in compliance with SOX requirements, and to properly safeguard company assets

2. Financial planning and analysis

• Developing efficiencies and process improvements within the team’s work streams;
• Partnering with departmental leaders to determine and support financial analysis needs;
• Managing financial aspects of projects by determining key drivers, driving the right set of analyses and presenting the conclusions;
• Monthly reporting and variance analysis, including backlogs and bookships;
• Product margins and performance (also Business Unit performance);
• Customer margins and performance;
• Regional margins and performance;
• Prepare ad-hoc management financial reports as required;
• Prepare management reporting packs in a timely and clear fashion, with risks and opportunities readily identified; and
• Support APAC VP Finance on ad-hoc tasks as required.

• Accounting or finance degree preferred
• CA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent preferred
• 10+ years of post qualification experience with more than 3 years in FP&A function and at least 5 years’ of managerial experience in leading finance teams, preferred
