Research 1. Ensure the set-up and supervising the running of the Clinical Trials within the dispensary, monitoring quality and effectiveness. 2. Assist in planning training schedules for staff new to the clinical trials. 3. The post holder will Internally Quality assure the delivery of apprenticeship education, , training, and development of Clinical Apprenticeship Programmes and will be responsible for progressing the delivery of apprenticeship programmes ensuring that the delivery is compliant with the academic and apprenticeship standards prescribed by the awarding bodies.
The post holder will principally support the delivery of Clinical Apprenticeship training to support evidenced based care across the workforce teams.
As contribution within the Learning & Organisational Development Team, the post holder will ensure that the workforce is fit for purpose in terms of their roles and that individual role competencies are reviewed to provide a safe, high quality and efficient service.
The post holder will contribute to the Trust’s education and development strategies, supporting projects as designated by the Apprenticeship Lead.

Act as expert in the Quality Assurance of the relevant Clinical apprenticeship standards and possesses the relevant knowledge, theory and understanding to support learners throughout the programme of study


Provide regular support to learners and Assessors ensuring 12 weekly reviews are accurately recorded and documented in the correct format that satisfies both Ofsted and ESFA requirements


To be responsible for carrying out work-based visits, observations, and reviews in a timely manner to ensure Assessors are meeting deadlines and progressing as targeted.


Support initial skills assessment and is actively involved in the Induction of new starters

Proactively manages Assessors/learners that are non-compliant and follows up all on all non-attendances in a timely manner

Prepare accurate and concise reports, both written and verbal using Ecordia electronic portfolio

Summary

The Medical Assistant (MA) functions within the administration pre-defined scope of practice guidelines per state location of practice.

Job Description

The MA in the ambulatory care setting collects subjective and objective health status data from the patient or caregiver and communicates this data to the health care provider. Participates in the care of patients by providing contributing data to licensed health care professionals; and following through on the patient's plan of care under the direction of the provider. Communicates the provider's written instructions for care to the patient, or caregiver, by transmission of specifically defined information. Will participate in care for patients, across the lifespan, in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, treatment, and follow-up as patients move in and out of care settings. Performs a variety of duties under the direct supervision of a person licensed to practice medicine. A sampling of the specialized clinical duties performed includes, but is not limited to, obtaining vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, observing and reporting patient's signs or symptoms, and performing point of care testing.

Qualifications

Must be a graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant program.

Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Nationally certified or registered as a Medical Assistant (MA). Certification (CMA) obtained through a nationally approved certification program for medical assistant, including but not limited to: American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National HealthCareer Association (NHA), Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) through the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA), or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) through the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), etc. Registration (RMA) obtained through the American Medical Technologists (AMT) also acceptable. Additional state requirements include: North Dakota (ND) registration as an MAIII through the ND Board of Nursing. If the incumbent does not already hold their registration as an MAIII through the ND Board of Nursing at time of hire they will be granted 4 months to obtain registration. All medication administration performed by the incumbent prior to obtaining the MAIII must be supervised by a licensed nurse. Additionally, must also be registered on the ND Board of Nursing UAP Registry if they do not possess MAIII registration at time of hire. The role
As a Safety, Health and Environmental Auditor you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. DRDL seeks to achieve and maintain the highest standards in the management of health, safety and the environment (SHE) in all its operations and you'll play a key part in ensuring this happens.

Day to day, you'll work as part as the SHE Assurance Team leading both workplace and desktop audits as part of the organisations audit plan. You'll be working both in our offices and the industrial site, this will include construction sites, surface ships, submarines and the estate / infrastructure functions audits.

Your key responsibilities will include:
* Working with the SHE elements of the site audit plan to ensure audits are targeted and relevant
* Working as part of the small team of SHE Auditors to plan and lead / partake in scheduled (and emergent) audits against our SHE Management System and other requirements to ensure our operations are compliant
* Auditing our documented arrangements against set standards, but also at times viewing operations from end to end
* Completing audit reports (or consolidate team contributions to form reports) to a professional standard, which identify findings that are evidentially supported.

This role is a full time working 36 hours per week and will be based at our DRDL site.

Essential experience of the Safety, Health and Environmental Auditor:
* You must be an Auditor or SHE professional who has worked with Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems certificated to ISO standards.
* You must have experience of the application of SHE Management knowledge, at a practical level. This could be as part of industrial operations or as a SHE Professional. A range of disciplines / industries would be considered.
* You must have excellent communication and organisational skills. You should be self-motivated and be comfortable working on key work packages as part of a small team. Equally, you should be comfortable, at times working in isolation.
* You must be comfortable communicating and presenting through a range of mediums with both internal and external parties.

Qualifications for the Safety, Health and Environmental Auditor:
* You must have a current Auditor qualification certified to ISO standards OR currently working towards ISO standards OR hold a NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or Environmental Management Certificate, holding both would be advantageous.
