Senior HR Manager (Chinese Candidate)
Job Responsibilities
HR Responsibilities and Staff Management:
- Managing staff leave.
- Ensure the payroll process is carried out in a timely and accurate manner.
- Reviewing, developing, and maintaining all HR-related components of the company.
- Maintaining and organizing the staff database.
- Develop and implement a departmental budget.
- Provide an advisory on human resources practices to Advise the senior management team and other functional heads on HR practices.
- Coach and develop the HR team members.
- Support Perform other routine HR basic operations support as required.
Policies, disciplinary issues, and compliance:
- Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure that employee relations issues, including the investigation and resolution of employee complaints, are managed effectively and efficiently.
- Ensure that HR practices remain in compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Employee counseling and industrial relations
- Handle and deal with employee disciplinary issues fairly and consistently (including counseling, grievance handling, poor performance, misconduct, domestic inquiry, etc.).
Recruitment Organizing:
- Identifies staffing and recruiting needs.;
- Develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management.
- Responsible for Overseeing recruiting activities, which included auditing job content.
- Manage Onboarding processes, including scheduling orientation sessions, training, and department meetings.
- Allocate and ensure the right amount of resources for HR human resources members to carry out their work effectively.
Performance Management:
- Plan and execute performance reviews and appraisals.
- Review the proposed salary adjustments to establish guidelines.
- To develop and participate in compensation and benefits surveys to analyze the company's competitive position.
- Keeping a database of quarterly and annual performance reviews and appraisals quarterly and annually.
- A clear reporting structure and a list of their responsibilities and goals.
Employee Engagement:
- Organize events, outings, dinners, celebrations, and end-of-year dinners.
- Facilitating constructive interpersonal staff relationships and providing guidance.
- Pioneering and implementing strategies to ensure a productive and positive work environment.
- Manage the complaints, feedback, and concerns.
Training:
- To develop and deliver key training programs that are key to supporting the achievement of business strategies through individual and group development sessions.
- Developing in-house testing and qualifications systems for in-house testing and qualifications that objectively measure and acknowledge staff abilities.
- Conduct training needs assessments and work closely with the business to identify relevant training programs.
Job Qualifications:
- At least 6 to 10 years of progressively senior experience, including global or international project leadership.
- Extensive knowledge and practical application of federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Fluency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Melayu, verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated experience with leading a team.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal, persuasive, written/verbal communication, planning, organisational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment,
- Able to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or equivalent education and/or experience. HR certification is a plus.
