Supported Accommodation Manager (South West)
Gloucester and Bristol
Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 6:00pm
Permanent (after 6-month probationary period)
£28,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on qualifications and experience
Level 5 NVQ in health and social care or equivariant (degree level) required
Full, clean UK driving licence required

Due to expansion, they are now seeking a Supported Accommodation Manager in the South West area.

About the Role:
As a Supported Accommodation Manager in the South West region, you'll play a pivotal role in our mission. You'll lead a dynamic team in providing semi-supported accommodation to 16-18-year-olds leaving care, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and fostering a positive environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Efficiently oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Manage budgets and resources effectively
Staff Management:
Lead, manage, and support the staff team
Conduct regular meetings, supervisions, and appraisals
Resident Support:
Provide necessary support for independent living skills development
Address conflicts and issues as they arise
Stakeholder Engagement:
Liaise with external agencies, local authorities, and professionals
Foster positive relations with neighbours and the community

About You:
Qualifications/Skills Required:
Candidate MUST have NVQ (QCF) LEVEL 5 or above in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care
MUST have 12 months experience of working with vulnerable young people
MUST have a Full, clean UK driving license
UP-TO-DATE DBS preferred. Company will apply for right candidate
Core/Statutory Training will be provided by company
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Knowledgeable about regulatory environment and statutory requirements
Skilled in working with diverse groups
