As a Desk Officer, you will use your specialized regional and functional experience and your attention to detail to assist in the development of campaign plans, contingency plans, crisis management options, and time-sensitive plans in accordance with the Advanced Planning and Execution System. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to support our warfighters.
You will also provide analytical support in developing policies, providing intelligence support to exercise planning, intelligence operations feasibility assessments within the planning process, and the planning, development, and execution of partner nation engagements. You’ll work as part of the PLEX team, ensuring intelligence equities are integrated into strategic and operational-level military planning and execution. You will help document intelligence resourcing gaps and shortfalls and develop mitigation strategies, integrate intelligence products, and synchronize the intelligence cycle supporting collection, analysis, production, and targeting. You Have:
8+ years of experience with the Five Stages of the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC), the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP), and Army Design Methodology (ADM)
Experience with joint and combined, multi-domain operations planning, campaign and contingency planning, and developing and maintaining base plans, annexes, appendices, and tabs
Experience with scripting and executing exercises
Knowledge of Joint, Bilateral, and Multilateral Exercises, and Joint and Multinational exercise design at the operational level
Knowledge of IC-standard intelligence and production tools, databases, techniques, and platforms
Ability to take an exercise from the concept phase, plan the exercise, and prepare and provide a senior-level concept of operation brief
Ability to show a score of 2+ or higher on the DLPT or ILR in the Spanish Language
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, both domestically and internationally
TS/SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
5+ years of experience at the brigade level and above
Experience with land component operations
Familiarity with the USSOUTHCOM AOR
Experience working with coalition and foreign partners, and maintaining a high level of cultural awareness and sensitivity
Experience with developing internal and external professional networks and writing and developing comprehensive intelligence assessments, information papers, and presentations
Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Office 365
Knowledge of the aspects of Multi-Domain Operations
Possession of excellent time management, organizational leadership, and written and verbal communication skills
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
