In your new job as a Facilities Manager, you will manage hard & soft services scope (technical, cleaning, archiving, pest, catering & estates).

The role holder will manage a team of approx. 30 people plus sub-contractors, ensuring that an effective and efficient service is delivered and maintained and that service levels are in line with the contractual CI's, KPI's and PI's. You'll also monitor and control supplier, sub-contractor and labour costs to ensure financial targets are achieved. Building a strong working relationship with internal and external customers including sub-contractors is important in this role, to ensure that all services are delivered in a professional, timely and cost-effective manner.

You'll be responsible for compiling accurate management information/reporting as required and submit in a timely manner to appropriate stakeholders, and play a key role to support any site audits, including but not limited to, quality, health and safety, environmental and finance.

The successful Facilities Manager will have experience of FM project delivery, including an awareness of CDM regulations and proven success in an operational manufacturing environment, worked within process-led, regulated organisations and/or industries. You will hold a suitable Health and Safety certificate (IOSH Managing Safely or similar) and Knowledge of Quality Management Systems is extremely desirable.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven track record managing multi-disciplined teams including recruitment, disciplinaries, grievances, appraisals, and performance management, and can show an ability to manage operational finance, i.e. management of WIP, debt and billing activities and highly computer literate and experienced in using Microsoft applications.

Based on our National client site, MARS in Wyong you will manage the integrated facilities services ensuring that Sodexo's financial and operational objectives are met.

We seek a Facilities Manager with demonstrated experience managing the delivery of hard (fire services, electrical) and soft services (cleaning, food) and a team of 17 Sodexo staff.   You will manage the planned work schedules, and will review & evaluate building works as well as coordinate all aspects of building maintenance and essential services via contractor management.

• Ensuring works are completed in accordance with Service Level Agreements and OH&S guidelines

About the Role :

• Organise, co-ordinate and control the FMC team, sub-contractors appointed by the Client and visiting sub-contractors. Collate and manage all technical specifications, O&M documentation, drawings and compile all maintenance programs from all sub-contractor. Job Description

• Senior Facilities Manager duties and responsibilities include planning and executing strategies for completing property management, periodic preventive maintenance, reactive maintenance and maintenance projects within KPI and in a timely manner.
• Supervising all property management, soft services, M&E services (include M&E minor project work), leading a team and vendor groups to manage and support the tactical delivery and be the on-site key point of contact for the key stakeholders.

• You will also work closely with client’s line managers on property, soft services, mechanical, electrical, and technical field strategy and in driving the implementation of all features include on site.
• The responsibilities will include managing site budget, inventory management, maintenance and operations, contract services, purchasing of material, and equipment & supplies.
• Ability to effectively communicate via phone and email ensuring that all administrative duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.

Requirement:

• Extensive experience in Building M&E systems will be an added advantage.
• Degree from a recognised tertiary establishment and have managed an accumulated building portfolio of >200,000 sqm in the past 3 years. He/She must have a minimum of 8 years of relevant working experience at his/her equivalent level as an SFM/FM, or Tier 2 Certified Facilities Management Expert (CFME) accreditation by Singapore International Facility Management Association (SIFMA) accreditation scheme, and proven management background.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant supervisory experience in facilities management, property management, facilities engineering, or related field.
• Strong budget management and data analysis skills
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical or Mechanical), Facilities Management, Diploma Holder in Building Services or its equivalent
• Possess interpersonal and strong ability to manage Hard FM Services.
• Excellent written and communication skills.

They work on a variety of different projects which include; commercial, industrial and high-end residential. The role includes not only executing works that are currently on the books, but working with other sections of the company to expand the FM offering.As Facilities Contracts Manager, you will have responsibility for all aspects of the business from working with BD, through hiring; subcontracting; and operational management of this team, and ultimately to provide the company with the required margins.FM support to clients in Healthcare; offices; data centres and various types of warehousing and other facilities, providing primarily hard services. They expect to grow these sectors in the coming months and years, and also to expand into other sectorsWhat you'll need to succeed

• The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong track record of managing and delivering hard facility services to a range of clients.
• You will have the ability to show that you have a clear understanding of how to price and deliver facility services.
• Ability to demonstrate a good understanding of people management.
• There will be multiple jobs running concurrently across the UK, and as such, you need to be able to show that you have managed many jobs at one time.
• MIWFM is certainly an advantage, as is degree level qualifications in related fields.
  However, experience and a proven track record will also be considered.
