This position is responsible for management of Risk Weighted Assets "RWA" Analytics within the Capital Controllers Group, specifically focused on derivatives analysis and RWA calculation relative to Basel Rule.

The candidate will work closely with key partners leading the Standardized RWA transformation efforts including Basel III Endgame readiness. Key partners including the Business, Markets Transformation, Chief Data Office (CDO), Capital Planning, Enterprise Technology Services (ETS), Corporate Regulatory Reporting (CRR) and Finance and Risk Senior Management.

The candidate will have a robust understanding of trading book exposures and a solid track record of performing detailed financial analysis, root cause analysis, impact assessments, financial reporting, Board reporting, and developing key performance indicators to measure success.

Key success factors will be this position’s ability to deliver on key milestones within the finance transformation efforts, establish trusted partner relationships with key stakeholders and effective expectation management through superior communication and metrics within the RWA workspace.

This position will report to the RWA Close & Operations Leader.

Responsibilities:

• Lead analysis of Basel RWA Reporting based on US Regulatory requirements.  Primary focus will be on the Trading Book RWA (Derivatives)
• Assess impact of transforming derivatives RWA data model
• Build standard metrics reporting, impact assessments, and reporting of ongoing monitoring of any exceptions
• Recommend goals, changes, and plans for RWA Reporting for relevant scope
• Ensure close processing financial controls are performed as expected

This role will be responsible for managing the CISO Manager’s Control Assessment (MCA) Execution Team primarily responsible for developing and executing strategies to innovate, support and help lead global MCA Transformation efforts including approach design, development, implementation, reporting, and governance. Team/Role Overview

HR Partner & Delivery sits at the center of Citi’s HR business solutions.  This newly created team's future proposition is to provide guidance and coaching to managers on all employee life-cycle processes, solving day to day HR needs for employee by leveraging technology to provide simple and effective employee focused processes.

This role is a senior level position reporting to the Head of HRP&D Process Design & Re-engineering.  The overall objective of the role is to improve the employee and manager experience when interacting with the HR solutions delivered by HRP&D and when using the Workday and ServiceNow systems.

• Support the HRP&D team to deliver process design and re-engineering solutions ensuring the employee and manager experience within Workday and ServiceNow Systems is at the foremost in design thinking.
• Create evidence-based insight to guide Workday and ServiceNow technology and process design and re-engineering.
• Responsible the continuous improvement of existing Workday and ServiceNow system design to enhance the Employee and Manager experience, and for testing new design and trialing new ideas in Workday and ServiceNow sandboxes.
• Identify priorities and opportunities for re-engineering and change.

What you’ll do

• Communicate effectively and present designs utilizing data and different techniques to identify and understand users and their needs.
• Employ a wide range of skills, interviewing users, creating detailed plans, understanding and extrapolating data, facilitating workshops, presenting research findings to optimize the employee and manager experience.
• Create experience maps that illustrate multiple user journeys within a service – using highlights and pain-points across the journey to map out opportunities and recommendations to improve the experience.

• Understand and help resolve design-centric process and technology disputes across varying levels of complexity and risk.

• Communicate effectively across the organization, understanding making complex and technical information simple and accessible for non-technical audiences.
• Lead usability testing, user research sessions and other evaluations as necessary to validate designs.
• Review and present designs and support decisions using an evidence-based approach.
• Measure, monitor and report impact and progress to senior stakeholders.

What we’ll need from you

• Relevant experience
• Extensive background in user experience design.
• A desire to understand human behavior and analyze activity.
• Knowledge of, and practical experience in, multiple research and user testing techniques to elicit valuable information from users (e.g. card sorting, customer journey-mapping, usability testing)
• Experience designing and leading workshops to brainstorm, collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Business line experience desirable with previous accountability for driving client experience initiatives preferred.
• Workday and ServiceNow experience preferred

The Business Risk and Control Group Manager is accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas. Leads and directs a team of professionals. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Strong commercial awareness is a necessity. Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication may be necessary. Accountable for the end results of an area. Exercises control over resources, policy formulation and planning. Primarily affects a sub-function. Involved in short- to medium-term planning of actions and resources for own area. Full management responsibility of a team or multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning, to include performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures identification of appropriate risks which impact Change Management governance and delivery, and ensure mitigation strategies are developed and executed when necessary.
• Execute and/or influence governance and the facilitation of the execution of the Manager Control Assessment (MCA, i.e.. Risk & Control Self-Assessment) primarily for Change Management as required by the MCA Standard including the assessment and appropriate approval of risk associated with business changes. 
• Responsible for the quality, completeness, and accuracy of the implementation of the Control Framework, including Risk Control Policy, Control Standard, Issue Management Policy, Lesson Learned Policy and Control Inventory.
• Manage and allocate resource for the identification of issue root cause, partnering with control and process owners to recommendations holistic corrective actions and improvements, provide check and challenge to ensure appropriate escalation in according with Issue Management and Escalation Policies.
• Assist in directing teams in the implementation of the Lessons Learned Policy, including monitoring of control breaches and dissemination and learnings across other business units for process improvement to limit the occurrence of similar future events and where similar risk exposure might exist.
• Support review and challenge, within the FLUs, on the effective design and management of controls to mitigate risks as required by the Control Standards, including implementation and operation, conducting the control monitoring, handling deficiencies, and escalating issues for resolution. 
• Direct teams on the timeliness, accuracy and completeness of the MCA through controls prior to the execution of a process (QC).
• Assess adherence to the MCA Standard through controls after the execution of a process (QA).
• Exercise control over Operational and Compliance Risk in accordance with established Policy requirements.
• Allocate resource to identify, assess, escalate, and manage risk exposures across Risk Categories (Operational Compliance, Strategic, Reputational, etc), including material, emerging and concentration risks in accordance with enterprise Policies and the establishment of Key Indicators to monitor risk exposures.
• Assess Risk Appetite and monitor / assess exposures against this in accordance with enterprise requirements (if applicable).
• Take ownership to identify, assess, record and response to Operational and Compliance Risk events, ensuring these are captured accurately, timely and in accordance with requirements.
• Responsible that adequate governance and training are in place to support management of Risk profiles.
• Assess the risks associated with New Activities and changes to the Business, ensuring these are well understood and adequately controlled (if applicable).
• Support operational risk scenario analysis and stress testing for Operational Risk Capital requirements.
• Take ownership of risk and control assessments or coordination for programs within various risk stripes and ensure sufficient subject matter expertise exists to enable management of these risks within the Business (e.g. third party, fraud, sanctions etc) (if applicable).
• Take ownership to ensure that risk and control responsibilities and accountabilities are embedded within FLUs, including providing training and leading by example.
• Guide and influence standards and procedures that conform to enterprise requirements and support sound operational and compliance risk management.
• Apply knowledge of the business, products or services to identify and implement control points and processes throughout the business.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience
• Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication may be necessary.
• Excellent analytical skills to ensure all path to green for metrics is reviewed for completeness and accuracy.
• Proven ability to network across levels to understand cross impacts of a proposed change to the MCA program.
