The Role
As a Field Research Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a team of full-time researchers capturing data that supports CoStar Group products. CoStar Group researchers collect data, research, and imagery on assigned commercial properties to capture the features and highlights of each building. As a Field Research Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that researchers are always meeting both production and quality standards. Responsibilities:
Build, train, mentor, and coach a growing team of 8-10 professional field researchers.

Review incoming data and imagery to determine its quality relative to standards and guidelines.

Qualifications:

Driving TPM through the shift ensuring compliance with our CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
Communicating with the production team to maintain and provide updates as to equipment status and how to move forward as a team
Identifying areas for improvement (i.e., quality, yield etc.)
Providing feedback with the spare parts that come out of rebuild and identify training needs ensuring stock levels are adequate
Performing and providing various tasks for process improvements
Deciding if a production line needs to be shut down and re-arranging team members as required to help perform all the work necessary for the shift
Deciding if additional personnel need to be called in if the absenteeism for the day is high
Directing mechanics in the priorities of the business by putting focus in the appropriate areas
Directing spare parts on needs for parts and helping to determine the appropriate shipping time to receive parts in a timely manner
Providing feedback on changes and upgrades as to what is beneficial to the business
Providing production managers technical solutions for daily issues
Identifying areas in the process for quick part changes and working with vendors to provide workable solutions
Identifying and relaying technical information to support various projects (i.e., engineering studies support, etc.)
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.+0 yrs)
The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English

Work hours: 36 - 48 hours per week (12-hour rotating night shift: 2 nights on, 2 nights off, and every other weekend)

In this role, a typical day will include:
Installing molding tool plates and fixing the DSMFLEX injection molding process and molded parts
Performing various electronic, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and/or optical duties
Constructing, solving problems, calibrating, adjusting, testing, diagnosing, and maintaining, equipment, components, devices, or systems
Working from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions
Operating related equipment; conducting tests and reporting data in the prescribed format
Performing calibration and alignment checks; making adjustments, modifications, and replacements as advised
Working in partnership with Engineers and Electro Mechanics and being multi-functional
Preparing prescribed compounds and solutions
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
MA Assessment is required for internal candidates only before hire if no technical degree or certification has been acquired
