PRIMARY PURPOSE:

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Smile and greet, warmly interact with, and assist guests and hotel staff in a professional manner.

• Maintain a positive attitude and outgoing personality, demeanor and professional appearance.

• Provide a high level of guest service to all guests and co-workers which are aligned and guided by the Company's and Property’s core service standards and brand attributes in order to provide defining moments at every opportunity.

• Collect, transport, deliver, and store luggage and guest items.

• Assist with group deliveries, group baggage, and various amenities.

• Orient guests to guest room and property.

• Complete applicable documentation, tickets, and other bell related forms

• Make and receive phone calls requesting information, services and deliveries.

• Perform other job-related duties as requested.

A GREAT CANDIDATE:

• Preferably has six (6) months guest service experience in a similar environment.

• Demonstrates a positive attitude, outgoing personality, and impeccable appearance standard.

• Is knowledgeable of various hotel systems such as Opera, HotSOS, GoConcierge, VIPr, Autocab, Autobells, CVPS, and others.

• Is knowledgeable of handheld mobile application devices.

• Is able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms.

• Has basic knowledge of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, fax machine.

• Has excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.

• Maintains a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards.

THE JOB:

The Surveillance Shift Supervisor in a gaming environment is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the surveillance operations within a casino or gaming establishment. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of gaming regulations and security protocols.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Supervise and Coordinate: Activities of the surveillance team to ensure efficient and effective surveillance coverage throughout the gaming facility. Supervise Operators and Lead Operators to ensure video documentation is thorough and that the infractions observed are correctly interpreted.

• Monitor Surveillance: Including cameras, recording devices, and software systems, like CCTV to maintain optimal functionality and reliability. Maintain video file evidence by saving video files to an alternative media; monitor Table Games, Casino Cage, Soft Count,  Hard Count, Poker, and all employees adjunct to the Casino floor.

• Audit and Inspect: Surveillance operations to ensure compliance with gaming regulations, internal policies, and security procedures.

• Review and Analyze: Surveillance footage to identify potential security threats, suspicious activities, or violations of gaming regulations.

• Accurate Records and Documentation: Of surveillance activities, incidents, and investigations and maintain strict confidentiality of all property-related issues.

• Respond Promptly: To emergencies, security breaches, or incidents requiring surveillance intervention and remain alert to any suspicious activity.

WHAT YOU NEED:

• High School Diploma, or equivalent.

• 2 years of prior relevant experience in surveillance or table games position in a casino/hotel environment.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT:

• Proficiency in operating CCTV systems (Closed-CaptionTelevision).

• Strong aptitude for technology with the ability to navigate and troubleshoot various technical systems.

• Knowledge of table games within a gaming environment.

THE JOB

DAY-TO-DAY

• Oversee the pool staff to meet safety standards, service delivery, cleanliness and ambiance; work with supporting departments to meet operational needs of the area
• Ensure the staff is providing safety by watching over water and deck areas and responding to emergency situations; adhere to company policies and legal requirements regarding safety, health, and welfare of guests, employees, and the property
• Report all guests and employee incidents/accidents to a Supervisor and complete needed documentation
• Ensure the staff is proactively greeting and interacting with guests while adhering to company service standards
• Assist guests with pool side needs to include seating, towels, hours of operations, ADA requirements, amenities, directions and other needs
• Respond and resolve guest needs in a timely manner and creatively solve problems with the ability to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and resolve potential difficulties
• Supervise the completion of daily pool set-up and breakdown needs, cleaning, linen distribution and maintaining attentiveness to the environment to enhance guest experience

PREFERRED -

• 6 months - 1 year of lifeguard experience.
• 6 months - 1 year of resort experience.

REQUIRED -

• CPR/AED/LIFESAVING

DAY TO DAY:

• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer incoming calls and direct calls to the appropriate staff/department.
• Respond to all general e-mail correspondence from guests and staff

• Take and place order, and serve food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable
• Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures
• Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house, clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests
• Pack and complete order as per guests' preference with any necessary condiments
• Properly label and date products per safety and sanitation procedures
• Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment
• Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders to designated storage maintaining organization, stock and replenish products as needed in work station, counters, tables, etc.
• Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
