Our client is a premier loyalty promotion and fulfilment management company in Malaysia. Their clientele have grown and diversified especially over the last decade, from initial mainly commercial banks and financial institutions to telecommunication, petroleum and MNCs. Currently they are seeking to recruit additional person to join their Finance Department based at their corporate office in Section 51, Petaling Jaya.
The position is full time permanent role with working hours from 9.00am-6.00 pm Monday to Friday.
About the job
This is a permanent role and will be reporting to Accountant in the Finance Department. As Accounting Officer, you will be responsible to perform support role covering finance and accounting functions, data entry, general administrative duties and liaising with sales and operations staff.
The roles & responsibilities are listed below:
*Provide high quality accounting and administrative support to Supervisor by performing accounting tasks and general dministrative duties.
*Perform data entry duties for the accounting activities, including preparation of cheques and invoices, vouchers, accounting statement and reports.
*Handling communications with clients and vendors via telephone, e-mail and in person.
Requirements
*Female preferred.
*Minimum SPM/UEC or Certificate/Diploma qualification in Accounting/Book-Keeping or Business Administration.
*Demonstrated experience working in administrative and accounts environment.
*Good with above average communication skills.
*Must be proficient in English plus BM and Mandarin.
*Friendly and confident interpersonal skills with ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks.
*Good communication, language,literacy and numeracy skills.
*Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office applications.
*Basic level accounting experience.
About the job location
In this role, you will be based at the PJ Industrial Area of Section 51 in Petaling Jaya. Candidates who are residing in surrounding areas such as Jalan Templer, Jalan Gasing, Taman Medan/Old Klang Road areas and even Section 14 PJ will find it most convenient to commute to the location. Public transportation to this area is lacking, it is therefore necessary you should possess your own vehicle to commute to the work location.

The candidate
To be successful, you will be a Malaysian age 26-35, possess a Bachelor degree in Accountancy or professional qualification ACCA or CIMA. The ideal candidate for this role must be someone who have working experience (1-2 years) in internal auditing role within public listed company environment. Candidate should have a good knowledge of current Malaysian accounting and audit standards.
To be able to play a successful role, we are looking for candidates with a good command of English,both spoken and written besides conversant in BM and Chinese/Mandarin. Once on board, he/she must also be able to travel for audit assignments.

作為內部稽核主管，您將與內部稽核經理和團隊成員密切合作，以在整個企業範圍內實施持續的內部稽核計畫。您的工作角色將涉及：
*進行財務、合規和營運審計，以評估集團業務營運中內部控制、風險管理流程和企業管治實務的充分性/適當性和有效性。
*審查季度管理帳目和年終審計的法定帳目，包括關聯方交易。
*提出增值建議以降低成本、改善流程或修正控制中的弱點。
*針對指定活動準備全面的審計報告。
候選人
要獲得成功，您必須是年齡 26 至 35 歲的馬來西亞人，擁有會計學士學位或 ACCA 或 CIMA 專業資格。該職位的理想候選人必須是具有上市公司內部審計職位工作經驗（1-2 年）的人。候選人應充分了解馬來西亞現行的會計和審計標準。
為了能夠發揮成功的作用，我們正在尋找除了精通國語和中文/普通話之外，還具備良好的英語、口語和寫作能力的候選人。一旦登機，他/她還必須能夠前往執行審計任務。

Reconcile General ledger to Subledger and Complete all period end close processes assigned
Understanding the relevant systems to ensure correct processing of financial transactions including Application of basic accounting concepts of Debits / Credits; Control accounts while recording transactions.
Responsible for Maintenance and accuracy of various trackers
Preparation of the Accounting reconciliations inline with best practices requirements and as per Risk assessment methodology
Highlighting all accounting Issues in the Balance sheet reconciliations and suggesting probable solutions to issues on hand
Adheres to timelines and understands the importance of accuracy to avoid surprise scenarios in balances sheets
Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence
Understanding "MY" Objectives and work priorities and working towards achieving and exceeding them
Be a good Team Player; and work collaboratively with Colleagues and Instill Trust within wider team
