We are looking for a highly motivated and organized candidate who enjoys challenges and collaborating with external and internal stakeholders in a highly dynamic organization.
Financial Operations
- Assist the Director in the budget planning & monitoring of the organization.
- Assist the Director and Research Groups in monitoring the individual project spend for the various Departments, Programmes and Grants.
- Work with internal stakeholders to address their queries relating to the monthly budget utilization and provide administrative support, whenever required.
- Assist the Director in Resource Planning which includes manpower planning and costing, space planning and lab management, whenever required.
General Operations
- Assist the Director in overseeing the daily operations of the Institute, including Assets Management, logistics matters such as Admin Procurement, Goods Receipts, etc.
- Work with IT support staff to oversee the IT requirements of the organization, including IT infrastructure, hardware, software and renewal plans, etc.
- Assist the Management team in Business Continuity Management.
- Assist the Director in ensuring that internal controls and procedures are in-placed and in compliance with A*STAR policies and guidelines.
- Work with the Director and management team on any ad-hoc project and initiative that the organization undertakes.
Qualifications:
- Possess at least 3 years of relevant experience in financial operations and reporting, general administrative and operational functions.
- Knowledge of SAP system will be advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Able to multi-task and deliver results under tight timelines.
- Willingness to learn and possess high level of initiatives and adaptability to take on additional responsibilities, when required.
