General Summary
Essential Job Accountabilities
Comprehend and administer a safety program that provides for a safe work environment that meets or exceeds Granite’s Annual Incident Goal, and fosters a culture that expects participation at all levels

Supervise total construction effort to ensure the project is constructed per design, budget, and schedule and is staffed appropriately
Execute construction of new, ground-up structures, including all aspects of new building construction including site development, utilities, foundations, structural, interior finishes, etc.
Plan, coordinate and supervise on-site functions for new, ground-up building construction and provide input with scheduling, engineering, internal and subcontractor resources, and material control to make sure project objectives are met
Supervise and direct field supervisors, superintendents, and other contractors to ensure productivity, efficient use of materials & equipment, and contractual performance of the project are met
Interface with all on-site work teams as required, to resolve problems, ensure quality, safety, scheduling, and achieving schedules in support of overall project objectives
Assist project management in developing and implementing project Work Plans and procedures, working documents, and standards to ensure project goals are achieved
Comply, understand, and support corporate safety, quality, and environmental initiatives to ensure a compliant work environment
Recruit/recommend and hire qualified individuals to maintain high-performing teams
Mentor construction, craft, and engineering staff to ensure individual development and Granite standards are met. Analyze training needs and opportunities and work with senior leadership to ensure needs are being met
Education
High School Diploma or equivalency.
Work Experience
10+ years of supervisory or equivalent construction experience specifically for new, ground-up construction of structures and industrial warehouse-type buildings
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods); company policies, procedures, and standards; and union jurisdiction, labor agreements, and negotiations essentials
Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory, and planning skills required
Excellent management skills

General Summary
Essential Job Accountabilities
Communicate with Foremen and Superintendent to learn about field construction operations and to provide support.
Establish and maintain working relationships with owners, agencies, subcontractors, inspectors, & the local community.
Assist with the Project Environmental, Health, Safety requirements.
Assist the Project Engineer with approving time cards in HeavyJob. Ensure all equipment and employees are accounted for on timecards.
Assist with verifying quantities in FIS (Field Information Systems) and log quantities for cost and revenue tracking.
Assist the Project Engineer with generating and distributing daily cost reports (trucking, labor, equipment) to the Project Manager, Foreman & Superintendent.
Assist with the completion of daily reports documenting both Granite Construction and Subcontractor activities.
Place necessary material orders, survey requests, locates, etc.
Maintain a to-do list and diary.
Assist with the calculations of yields of materials used such as concrete, aggregate base & asphalt.
Tour jobsite daily with the Project Manager or Engineer to verify quantities claimed are correct and to stay current on overall job progress.
Additional responsibilities as needed.

High School diploma required and a minimum of 2 (two) years of education from an accredited institution of higher learning such as a college or university

Research historical data and productivity analysis reports in order to compile summary reports to develop guidelines and precedence for future estimates.
May supervise, direct, and mentor project staff to ensure individual development and that project standards are met.
Assist in representing company, project and/or department during client and project management meetings to ensure effective communication.
Education

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Minimum 10 years of construction experience, prefer experience with construction, estimating and bid process, scheduling.
Background with electrical and/or instrumentation
Understand and manage safety, quality, and schedules.
Manage multiple subcontractors within a working facility.
Ability to work with minimal supervision in daily tasks.
Ability to communicate written and verbally to client, team and management.
Must be able to maintain positive relationship through daily communication with the client.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including word processing, spreadsheets and applications.
Physical Qualifications
Work is located at an active work site and requires the follow activities during field walk downs:
Requires exposure to ambient temperature extremes.
Extensive walking in and around a construction site, climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, working on elevated platforms, working on uneven surfaces and working in small or confined spaces.
Some lifting may be required, up to 20lbs.
Must have the ability to walk into and out of the project (enter/egress).
Must be able to use appropriate standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. harness, life vest, lift buckets, hearing and eye protection, steel-toed boots, etc.)

General Summary
Essential Job Accountabilities
Assist with job controls to ensure compliance with contract, budget, schedule, forecasting and job costing.

Education

Scope of work
Plans and prioritizes care for individuals and population of patients, focusing on strategies that will promote optimal health within populations. Demonstrates expertise, current knowledge in nursing care and management of a caseload of patients of varying complexity and seeks to improve patient, family and health systems / community outcomes through the application of educational concepts / skills and preventive care in a managed care environment. Ensures the continuous and timely availability of urgent care, emergency, inpatient, and operative services to patients and families.
