Primary Responsibilities:
This role centres on managing the comprehensive global rewards programs, overseeing payroll operations (outsourced), ensuring the efficiency of HR systems, conducting analytics, and managing associated processes within a chemical manufacturing enterprise.
Payroll and C&B:
· Coordinate monthly payroll processing and liaise with third-party service provider for Singapore, Japan, and Malaysia. Serve as the main liaison for all countries.
· Conduct evaluations of the third-party payroll vendor to ensure compliance with service level agreements.
· Strategize, coordinate, and facilitate the Company’s C&B initiatives in collaboration with internal leadership and stakeholders.
· Oversee the annual compensation cycle, including management of the Incentive Compensation Plan and other compensation programs.
· Develop, implement, and maintain C&B policies; regularly review, propose, and implement C&B plan designs and system enhancements.
· Manage C&B cost projections, budgets, and analyses, working closely with the finance team.
HRIS:
· Spearhead the development and management of analytics, reporting, and dashboards utilizing advanced data reporting/visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, SharePoint Online, etc.).
· Take ownership of system implementations, encompassing testing plans, documentation, and resolution of identified system and integration issues.
· Recommend and implement process improvements, including system enhancements, to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
· Ensure accuracy and integrity of all employee data maintained in the system.
Required Skills:
· Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll and C&B within a manufacturing environment.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong understanding of HRIS systems, including configuration, customization, and integration with other systems.
· Thorough knowledge of compensation and benefits principles, practices, and relevant legislation.
· Experience in payroll, data analysis, reporting, and presenting HR metrics.
· Exceptional project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Education:
· Bachelor's degree in business, science, or engineering discipline required.
