Contract Duration: 11 Months
Working Hours: Monday – Thursday: 8.30am – 6pm, Friday: 8.30am – 5.30pm
Basic Salary: Up to $8,500 per month
Job Responsibilities:
· Partner divisions / project teams in funding requests, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and 3-year projections through:
· Partner divisions to ensure month/year-end close activities such as accruals are being performed timely
· Detail monitoring and analysis of operating revenue, expenses and capital expenditure utilisation against budget and funding source
· Prepare and present financial performance, full year forecasts and budget variances to stakeholders including recommendations, highlight key variance, area of improvements where necessary
· Provide financial insight to business unit for timely decision making
· Partner division and project team on monthly forecasts, annual budgets, revised budget submission including presentation to stakeholders for approval and recommend moderation where necessary
· Monitor fixed and variable costs to clearly understand cost drivers and improve budget marksmanship
· Review and provide input on financial related matters for funding request, quarterly project reporting and end of project reporting
· Ensure compliance of company policies, accounting standards, IMs and Government polices
· Ongoing engagement with business unit to stay updated on business developments
· Building partnerships and maintaining strong relationship with business unit
· Undertake ad hoc projects and analysis work or any other duties assigned when required
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy/ACCA or a relevant professional accounting qualification with at least 3 - 5 years of experience.
· Prior experience in Finance Business Partner and Technology company is preferred.
· Sophisticated presentation and storytelling skills – build insightful presentation and effectively communicate business narrative to influence and become a trusted business partner
· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships, stakeholder management, communicate effectively across all levels. and strong in problem-solving
· Good problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively “outside the box” and have strong business acumen
· Positive, can-do attitude, meticulous, able to work with large amount of data and do hands-on task
· Ability to adapt and working in a fast paced, rapid changing environment and comfortable in proposing, justifying, initiating, and implementing change
· Proficient in WorkDay, Power Pivot, Power Query, Tableau.
· Programming knowledge such Python will be an advantage.
