Tracking creatives throughout the lifecycle of the job (from concept through release)
Ensuring that comprehensive guidelines have been implemented into deliverables to ensure 100% ADA compliance
Conducting brainstorming sessions in a team setting to continually improve the user experience and performance results on deliverables
Collaborating with client partners to achieve strategic and innovative customer-facing assets
Reflecting core principles of curiosity and boldness in your approach to projects and demonstrating determination to achieve a successful conclusion
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in leading digital designers / providing art direction
Mastery of specialized software:
Adobe Creative Cloud: including XD and Dreamweaver
Figma
Adobe Experience Manager and Google Web Designer experience is a plus
A proven history of design fundamentals (including typography, color theory, brand adherence, and critical thinking with regards to creative application)
HTML5 proficiency (able to communicate effectively with digital designers and web developers)
Rich portfolio of work
Strong presentation skills and the ability to clearly and effectively discuss projects
Successful experience partnering with internal clients and senior leaders
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to keep track of multiple job statuses (experience with workflow tools is a plus)
Ability to adhere to a process calendar
Ability to successfully communicate and collaborate with local and remote team members
A BA or higher in design or a related field

Citi’s US in-house creative agency is looking for a Creative Director to lead its vision and strategy for lower funnel marketing, overseeing the development of high-volume email, direct mail and other targeted marketing assets.
This position requires a proven record of success in leading copy and design through branding initiatives in an agency environment.

Dedicated leader – Managing Design and Copy Leads to implement a consistent and unified experience across marketing assets

Accessibility expert – Advising on Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines as they pertain to marketing assets; providing a consistent and successful experience to all customers, regardless of ability

Key Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the in-house agency is to provide their partners with innovative and dynamic assets that adhere to brand guidelines, the client's central messaging and ADA compliance.
The Creative Director: Visual is specifically responsible for:
Leading a team of Design Leads, Copy Leads, designers and copywriters to ensure consistency through lower funnel marketing channels (email, direct mail, web banners, etc.)
Presenting to senior leadership; clearly explaining strategy and impact of the team’s involvement
Providing innovative, out of the box input when reviewing complex creatives
Conducting brainstorming sessions in a team setting to continually improve the user experience and performance results on deliverables
Participating in project kickoff meetings, performing internal reviews and joining client presentation calls to lead the team in delivering high quality assets
Demonstrating Citi’s purpose of making every client’s progress our passion
Qualifications:
8+ years of leadership experience, including a creative background (copy, design, etc.)
Agency experience (in-house agency experience is a plus)
Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud
A proven history of design fundamentals (including typography, color theory, brand adherence, and critical thinking with regards to creative application)
Experience with ADA compliance as it pertains to marketing collateral
Strong presentation skills and the ability to clearly and effectively discuss projects
Successful experience partnering with internal clients and senior leaders
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to keep track of multiple key priorities
Ability to adhere to a process calendar
Ability to successfully collaborate with local and remote team members
A BA or higher in marketing or a related field
