Finance Administrator (4 - 5 month role)

Working Location: South, Accessible from Tanjong Pagar MRT

Working Hours: 9 am - 6 pm (5 days work week)

Job Description:

1. Support in Profit Management Activities

- Gather, Consolidate & Monitor Profit (including preparing & maintaining tracking sheets)

- Review department submission and clarify variance with department

- Perform forecast, variance analysis and monitor monthly Profit movement

- Assist in the preparation of Annual & Mid-Long Term Profit Plan Preparation activities

- Assist in management reporting activities and other adhoc Profit related tasks

2. Support in Budget Control Activities

- Perform & manage SAP system budget control process including budget transfer

- Provide appropriate advice to Budget PICs relating to budget transfer, expenses charging and other budget control related matters

3. Support in Project Evaluation activities

- Review & Evaluate projects before submission for management approval

- Track project progress and compliance with company guidelines.

4. Filing and Administrative work is required

Requirements:

• Nitec/Diploma in Business/Finance/Accounting
• No experience is required as training will be provided

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing invoices and terms (i.e type, date, amounts, utilization data as per agreement).
• Communicating and following up with all involved parties regarding billing, invoicing and cash collection issues (Delivery Team, internal team i.e. legal, tax, contracting, finance etc. and Client)
• Timesheet validation, verification and follow ups with internal and with Client if necessary.
• Obtaining Purchase Orders from clients.
• Assist with assignments related to billing team.
• Identifying, Solving clients’ billing issues, accounts receivable efficiently and applying good customer service in a timely manner.
• Participating in projects related to processes optimization.
• Cash collection (Account Receivables) activities.

Mandatory Skills Description

• Require minimum 2 -3 years of experience in corporate Billing and collection including interaction with various level of customers.
• Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills required.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to fast paced environment.
• High level of responsibility, result oriented and problem-solving approach.
• Must have attention to detail with an eye for accuracy.
• Desire to work and build up the process and ability to work hard.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel (Intermediate to Advance), Word.
• Basic accounting and finance knowledge.
• English upper-intermediate (good written and oral skills).
• Experience in working with Oracle, Beeline, Fieldglass, SAP application are added advantage.
• Diploma, Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, International Economy.

• Work experience in financial institution.
