The Category Manager (ITS) provides leadership, direction and maximises value being delivered to the University for the categories under their management. The main activities include determining Division/School requirements, assessing supply markets, developing strategic category plans, and managing supplier contracts, performance, and risk. The Category Manager will engage with senior stakeholders within the RMIT organisation and supplier community to understand long-term university aspirations that can be enabled by third party relationships. The Category Manager will work to deliver process innovation that targets demand management and drive simple and effective use of processes and systems. Develop and implement strategic category plans based on market research and whole of life cost analysis to optimise value for money outcomes whilst meeting Divisions/Schools stakeholder needs and expectations;
Develop a sourcing pipeline and engage the Procurement Specialist(s) for the execution of go-to-market initiatives;
Support sourcing projects, including all key steps such as strategy development, supplier negotiation, award recommendations and supplier contract execution;
Conduct specific market analysis; spend analysis and stakeholder consultation to propose effective market strategies in the procurement plan to deliver the universities requirements;
Maintain and nurture strategic supplier relationships at management levels driving service delivery while extracting value-driven outcomes and challenging suppliers to optimise service outcomes;
Manage the commercial business relationship with suppliers and support the Divisions/Schools to manage poor supplier performance;
Ensure probity, transparency and compliance in all activities;
Member of Internal audit team for purchasing activity audits as required;
Identify and take action upon actual or potential risks in the course of operation;
Evaluate on a regular basis the effectiveness of relevant processes and controls, and take up discussion with manager as necessary;
Maintain sustainable procurement practices aligned with leading practice systems, process, policy, and probity, protecting the credibility of the central procurement function.

The Manager, Staff Wellbeing will work with various teams within RMIT (Wellbeing, Safer Communities, OHSSS, etc) to help drive Strategic Wellbeing Actions Plans. A key focus for this role will be to successfully design and deliver RMIT Vietnam’s first Staff Wellbeing Program, this will include developing initiatives that are focused on mental and physical wellbeing of RMIT Staff.

About the Role

About You
The Delivery Operations Manager for Programs and Delivery will work collaboratively with the ADVC SL&D to provide high-level support and strategic advice. Your role
The Manager, Career Development & Industry Relations (Hanoi) is responsible for leading and supporting the operation and development of the Hanoi Career Consulting industry and Internship team responsible for the delivery of careers education and employability programs, specifically the Personal Edge program, Career Mentoring program and career consulting for Hanoi RMIT Vietnam students (undergraduate and postgraduate). The role also oversees the Industry liaison and Internships function and roles in Hanoi.
The Hanoi Career Consulting and Industry team aims to increase RMIT HN VN students' confidence to identify their future career paths and develop employability skills to obtain meaningful employment. This is facilitated through close work and engagement with Industry and Internships partners liaison with all schools. Support is provided when Industry presence is requested by the different stakeholders. The team is also responsible for providing Alumni career consulting support for 2 years after graduation.
The position leads and manages Hanoi based Career Consultants, Mentoring Consultants, Employment and Industry Consultant and Internships Consultant. The position also delivers specialised careers counselling services focusing on At-Risk students, students lacking career direction and/or career self-efficacy, final year students, fresh graduates and postgraduate students (including PhD).
Reporting line
Reports to: Associate Director, Careers, Alumni and Industry Relations
Direct reports: 5 in Hanoi (and 2 Job Shop Assistants)
Key selection criteria
1. Expert knowledge of career development theory and practice, the principles of learning and development, student and graduate labour markets and demonstrated experience in applying these, with impact, in a large global tertiary learning environment.
2. Demonstrated experience in using technology to enhance the delivery of career education and industry programs within a tertiary environment in a similar role.
3. Expertise and content knowledge in career development; stages of students, career consulting, knowledge of the employment marketplace, key industry partners and knowledge of graduate outcomes.
4. Proven ability to exercise initiative, think strategically and creatively, leverage industry and academic relationships and adopt an active approach to initiatives that position students to be successful in clarifying and achieving their career t objectives, locally and globally.
5. Proven ability to ensure quality of co-curricular employability programs and industry events, career counselling and consultations.
6. Demonstrated ability in service excellence and delivering a high-quality service to students and internal and external stakeholders and supporting less experienced staff to do the same.
7. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships in a culturally diverse team environment.
8. Ability to display appropriate behaviours in line with the position, as per the RMIT Values.
Qualifications and Checks
Mandatory
A bachelor’s degree plus a postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline (Career Development, Education or similar) or extensive relevant experience
Preferred
Master’s degree in a related discipline

English proficiency requirement
English is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam. For this role, the minimum requirement is IELTS (7.5) with a score of at least 7,5 (or equivalent, as outlined in the Recruitment, Selection and Onboarding Guidelines).
For any role, English Language Proficiency may also be proven by showing successful completion of secondary education to a level qualifying to enter university study while being instructed through the medium of English, as per the RMIT University recognised qualification list.

As the Communications Manager, you will create, implement and oversea communication programmes for key initiatives in Student and Academic Services Department (SASD) and others where applicable in NTU.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement communication plans targeted at NTU staff and students in relation to the university’s key student-related initiatives and other relevant projects like enhancement of student intranet.
Develop content and direct creative execution to provide a consistent, targeted, and impactful message.

Identify and present opportunities for consistency in messaging and user experience across channels including physical signage, digital platforms, and printed materials.
Stay informed of developments in the field of marketing and communications within the industry to foster ideas and innovation.
Design and deliver differentiated communication messages for stakeholder groups identified for Target Operating Model (for student and academic services).
Requirements
Minimal 8 years in strategic communication, project communication or equivalent, in large organisation.
Experience in change management with the ability to effectively communicate and facilitate organisational change initiatives. Experience in this area will be considered a bonus.
Strong, versatile copywriting skills to create engaging and impactful content across various channels.
Proactive approach in resolving problems and issues as they arise.
Critical thinking abilities coupled with excellence in crafting clear and concise messaging.
Good organisational, planning, and coordination skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
Ability to multi-task and re-prioritise as needed.
