We are seeking a Change Programme Manager to join the Change Team to support the business in embedding new ways of working and adoption readiness of the new systems and applications being delivered by the programme. This is a critical role for an experienced Change Programme Manager, you will define the Change strategy and associated delivery plan, implementing this across all parts of the organisation and ensuring the identified benefits are on track to be delivered.

Key accountabilities:

Support projects with high strategic impact, setting a strategy that can be used in the long term and across the breadth of the organisation.
Communicate with a broad range of senior stakeholders and be responsible for defining the vision, principles and strategy for business change.
Build the Change Strategy to ensure maximum benefit is derived from the programme delivery.
Deliver the Change Plan across the organisation accounting for business capacity and the most efficient route to train once, rather than many times.
Build relationships across all levels of the organisation and influences important business decisions relating to managing and embedding change.
Research, identify, validate and adopt new ways of working or practices to embed change in an efficient and repeatable way.

Key skills, knowledge and experience:

Experience in shaping and delivering change programmes
Experience in working with technology teams to deliver major systems changes, including transition between systems
Experience in developing and delivering training and communication plans with relevant experts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels.
Experience using standard techniques for great effect in changes: Project planning, Business Model Change, Stakeholder Mapping, Process Mapping, Training needs analysis and RAID Logs with relevant mitigations.
Ability to prioritise and manage a large number of tasks simultaneously and deliver to expectations.
Able to escalate to Sponsor and senior stakeholders with confidence.
Experience creating process maps to aid with user adoption.
Exceptional problem-solving skills.
Experience in Dynamics 365 (desirable)

Morrison Water Services Ltd are currently looking to recruit a Project Manager. Working on our Scottish Water DV2 Framework working across a wide portfolio of projects. The role is based in our Stepps, Glasgow office reporting to the MWS Delivery Manager and will involve travel to sites as required.
The UK’s largest provider of essential infrastructure services through long-term framework agreements to the electricity, water, and gas sectors across the UK & Ireland.
Morrison Water Services is the largest division within MGS and works across the UK delivering water, wastewater, infrastructure, and non-infrastructure projects for a large proportion of the UK water industry.
The MWS Scotland region currently delivers a number of frameworks for Scottish Water including the Infrastructure Capital programme and the MEICA replacement operational alliance DV2 Lot 4 (this role). In addition, IDS deliver further specialist frameworks for Scottish Water as well for a portfolio of non-regulated clients. The business is currently at c. £130m p.a with further growth planned.
The DV2 Lot 4 MEICA replacement framework is a 6-year programme (2021-2027) with an option to extend for a further 6 years. The contract delivers a diverse range of design & construction projects (£100k - £4m) including the replacement of MEICA equipment, associated civil engineering works, specialist control & automation, SCADA and telemetry works. Annual volume £25m-£40m.
The Project Manager will be responsible for safe delivery of their Projects whilst achieving commercial expectations. A key part of the role will be establishing a strong relationship with Scottish Water, both at Project level and within the Framework.
You will be a key part of the MWS Management Teams, be expected to contribute to the strategic direction of Framework and support on key issues as they evolve.
This new position is a Scottish based role.
As the Systems Project Manager your duties and responsibilities will include:

- Working within a multi-disciplinary team on projects, primarily in water & waste water. Managing a number of projects focussing on MCC/PLC and SCADA upgrades and migrations
- Accountable for MCC/SCADA/PLC project delivery and managing the project team.
- Accountable for MCC/SCADA/PLC project margins (gross)
- Participate in collaboration meetings with other engineering disciplines and professionals.
- Review of contracts & specifications.
- Procurement and support for subcontract procurement based on detailed specifications.
- Record and review all project information.
- Continual professional development including professional registration is encouraged and actively supported.

- Work closely with the PMO team to ensure delivery programmes are in place and progress is monitored.
- Drive Risk management for the Projects.
- Provide leadership and guidance on technical and contractual matters to ensure timely resolution.
- Preparing progress reports for the MWS senior leadership team

- Develops lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client ties and support the long term MWS business plan.
- Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative technical solutions.

Skills & Knowledge requirements:

- Experience in water industry would be advantageous with the ideal candidate having a background in MCC/SCADA installations
- Computer literate with a good understanding of appropriate software packages
- Knowledge and skills in the in the planning, specification, design procurement and commissioning of projects
- A good financial background in relation to projects
- A good Knowledge of NEC3/4 contracts
- Possess sound knowledge of current legislation and able to work in accordance with QA and H&S procedures

Our tips response team manage sites in England, Scotland and Wales, undertaking inspections, maintenance and management of sites within the ownership of the Coal Authority.
We also provide tip inspection services to third parties in the UK, and since 2020 have been a key partner with Welsh Government, Natural Resources Wales and Welsh Local Authorities, assisting with the implementation of a programme of safety inspections to all disused coal tips in Wales.

About The Role
At the Coal Authority the Environment Department is responsible for addressing the issues of water pollution from abandoned coal and metal mines across Britain by developing new schemes and supporting the operation of over 75 existing mine water treatment schemes. There are three main delivery programmes covering sites spread across the former coal and metal mining areas in England, Wales and Scotland
These are key positions within the Environment Department Projects Team, assisting and leading on the project management of often complex, strategically important projects, which assess, develop and implement intervention strategies (including mine water treatment schemes) to address issues resultant from legacy mining activities.
Projects generally include a variety of remedial interventions, not least surface water and spoil heap management and both passive and active mine water treatment schemes and we actively consider and trial novel and emerging technologies, encountering a wide range of environmental sensitivities and constraints at all sites, with most of the sites having some designated areas / features either close to or on-site and most typically located in rural areas and sitting within or close to protected areas.

- Assist the Project Managers to: manage and lead the project delivery teams as assigned.To commission and project manage scoping, feasibility investigations to deliver a performance specification for a design and build contract to enable schemes to be implemented to prevent and reduce mine water pollution.
- Take the lead on managing low – medium risk projects such as refurbishments, efficiency schemes as required.

- Update and contribute to production of regular and ad hoc management status reports.

What is the role about?

The Business Manager is responsible for leading and motivating a team of employment advisers to support caseloads of jobseekers into employment.

Just some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include

• Implementing strategies aimed at upskilling your local community members and overcoming barriers to employment

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with

• Previous direct line management experience of a team
• Experience in a sales,customer service or recruitment industry
• Track record of working and achieving targets personally as well as managing team targets
• Experience in people management including training,coaching, performance management and recruitment.
• Strong administration and IT skills
• Assertiveness, Resilience and good Decision making skills
• A minimum of 2 A-Levels or an equivalent Level 3 Diploma in combination with GCSE English Language Grade B or above (or equivalent Level 2 qualification). If you do not possess this level of qualification you will be required to achieve a Level 2 in a Literacy Assessment conducted at interview stage.

Desirable criteria:

• Interest in people and willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of welfare/benefits system.
• Degree or relevant qualification. Degree topics may include; psychology, sociology, social care/science. Relevant qualifications would include Information Advice and Guidance NVQs, Brokerage Standard, Social Work qualifications or qualifications relating to welfare to work.
