The HR Customer Service Associate is responsible for supporting both HR processes and providing assistance to staff or candidates with their inquiries or concerns.

Summary of Duties

Customer Support: Act as the first point of contact for staff or candidates contacting HR with questions, concerns, or requests for information. POSITION SUMMARY:

The Adult Autism Resource Specialist will work in conjunction with the physicians and staff in the BMC Autism Program to support, provide information and offer ongoing consultations to families of transition aged youth and adults diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).  The ARS will follow-up with families to facilitate follow through of clinician’s recommendations, provide resource linkages to support agencies and community organizations and provide behavioral coaching to address problem issues.

Your new role
Working closely with the Director of Human Resources, this role is responsible for creating a people-centric support service to over 400 employees. This role will also provide comprehensive support in all HR functions including recruitment and selection, performance management, employee relations and organisational design to build the people strategy in line with the business strategy. The ideal candidate will provide an ongoing partnership through coaching and mentoring to business leaders and management by providing advice on associate performance, talent and succession planning, pay and reward and all other HR issues ensuring the integrity of all administration, personnel files and company systems in line with UK and EU law.


What you'll need to succeed
You will be a people-focused leader with a proven track record in influencing internal and external stakeholders on a range of HR and organisational issues. To be successful in this role, you will have strong relationship building skills, the ability to work on your own initiative, a keen eye for attention to detail and a strong team work ethic. An appreciation for confidentiality, a sound understanding in employment law and legislation and experience of HR systems are essential, along with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a HR role, in a complex environment. Ideally, you will have a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Human Resources or CIPD qualification at member level.

Supervises subordinate staff in the use of on-line entry modules, time and attendance software, and National Finance Center (NFC) databases to process and retrieve payroll and personnel information. He/she oversees the receipt of and responses to payroll and personnel related complaints or problems from regional, field human resource offices, and CPU staff. This position requires a high degree of technical knowledge in order to function as a subject matter expert in the correction of actions rejected by the automated systems.

Interprets OPM, DOJ, BOP, and NFC policy and instructions and prepares supplemental guidance and training plans for use as necessary. The subject matter includes such areas as Position Management System Online (PMSO), Nature of Action Code (NOAC) entries, time and attendance (T&A) problems, salary payments, benefits, payroll allotments, retirement and back pay issues.

Maintains a close working relationship with program analysts at NFC and management analysts and computer specialists in the Human Resource Systems Analysis Group (HRSAG) at the Department of Justice to facilitate information flow, identify problems and provide assistance with special or unique issues.
