The Director of Operations provides operational oversight of all activities for the multi-specialty physician practices. In collaboration with appropriate interdisciplinary team members, is responsible for the oversight of clinical programs, regulatory compliance, performance improvement, certification and accreditation and quality improvement processes. Managerial oversight for each of these identified areas along with supervision of practice managers. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of assigned practices. Works closely with the operational and clinical leadership both within the medical group and in the market to advance the goals and mission of the ministry. Leadership responsibilities include revenue cycle management, administration, program management, business development and strategic planning.
Essential Functions
Supports and directs the efficient, effective operations of assigned practices including provider productivity, appropriate staffing, supply utilization and resource allocation.
Proactively advances the performance of the medical group through improved processes, efficiencies, and provider and associate engagement.
Functions as a positive representative and leader within the ministry and the external community.
Directs and develops practice leaders.
Ensures the ministry’s clinical providers provide high quality, efficient, effective care by supporting and developing and retaining highly responsive, reliable, competent support teams.
Creates a culture of clinical and operational performance focused on quality, service, stewardship and engagement.
Participate in and occasionally lead market or system-level projects, committees, councils or work groups.
In collaboration with talent acquisition, actively participates in the recruitment process to interview, retain, train and develop practice clinical and administrative teams. Partners with ministry leaders to identify opportunities for candidate pipelines.
Identifies and supports meaningful coaching and development opportunities to grow talent within the practice and ministry.
Acts as a practice and operational leader, and models desirable behaviors that reinforce ministry culture.
Participates in the associate performance management process, including appropriately coaching, disciplining and documenting performance issues.
REQUIRED:
- Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Administration, business, finance or closely related field
- 3 years in physician practice management with increasing scope of management responsibilities and achievement.
- Effective communication, time management and organization skills.
- Experience with all Microsoft Office products.

The Role
Moderna’s Technical Development organization is looking for a Director, Technical Documentation with significant experience in creating and revising Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) source documents for global regulatory submissions of biotech products. The Director will drive the development of consistent, high-quality documentation across all stages of product development, ensuring clarity and compliance with global regulatory expectations, thereby facilitating a smoother review and approval process by health authorities.

Lead the review and editing process for CMC source documents intended for global regulatory submissions, adhering to the Common Technical Documentation (CDT) format.
Establish and uphold Moderna’s documentation standards, ensuring consistent messaging and quality across the entire product portfolio, from early development to commercial stages.

Minimum 10 years’ experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record of leading documentation efforts for global regulatory filings.

We are a world-class team looking for a Corporate Communications Director to oversee our Communications Center of Excellence (CCoE). This role sits within our Corporate Communications organization and has a dual focus: leading and growing our knowledge center, and executing communications and initiatives that build a strong, engaged and collaborative team culture.
This individual will lead the CCoE knowledge center, implementing internal processes to achieve excellence in partnership with the Corporate Affairs CoE lead including shared services such as templates, processes, reporting, and providing best practice support and direction through standardized approaches, tools, and trainings.

Scope of work and core responsibilities include:

Required Qualifications

Our Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) capabilities are vital catalysts for our mission to invent new medicines that save and enhance lives. The Data, AI, and Genome Sciences (DAGS) function at our organization adopts an AI/ML-first approach to enhance target and biomarker discovery by driving the understanding of complex disease mechanisms. As the Director of Data Science and AI, Data Lead, you will leverage your expertise in genomic technologies, multi-omics data, and computational and AI/ML techniques to drive the development of a scalable, FAIR data infrastructure and evidence-based knowledge graph. You will collaborate with Computational Biologists, Bioinformaticians, Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and AI/ML Engineers as part of a cross-functional team dedicated to identifying therapeutic targets. You will report to the Executive Director and Head of AI/ML.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide guidance for the data strategy to support target and disease biology discovery, collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project goals and data requirements.
Serve as a subject matter expert to AI/ML Scientists and Engineers, providing guidance on data, data pipelines, and disease biology.
Take ownership of the framework for data specifications and processes for integrating different data modalities (multi-omics, high-throughput screening data, clinical data, images) from internal and external sources into a Common Data Model for computational and AI/ML-driven target discovery.
Lead the development of data specifications and processes for a multi-modal Knowledge Graph by integrating information from internal and external data and knowledge bases for analytical and AI/ML model consumption.

Required Experience and Skills:
PhD in a relevant field such as computational biology, bioinformatics, systems biology, or a related discipline, with 8+ years of experience in genomic technologies, multi-omics analysis, therapeutics sciences, and disease biology OR MS in relevant field with 10+ years of experience OR BS in relevant field with 14+ years of experience
Strong understanding of multi-omic data, including analysis techniques, algorithms, statistical approaches, and relevant tools.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, with experience in data analysis and machine learning libraries.
Good knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure such as AWS.
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing standardized analytical workflows and processes.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.
Preferred experience:
Experience with Knowledge Graphs, including graph databases and query languages, would be advantageous.
Hands-on experience with omics data generation is a plus.
Strong track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals, patents, or other evidence of innovative expertise.

The expected compensation for this position in California is:
