The Design Release Engineer will be based in Farmington Hills MI.
Reporting to Engineering Manager, the Design Release Engineer- Wire Harness will be responsible for definition of requirements, design, analysis, development and control of wiring harness. DRE is often the integration hub development teams, sitting at the cross between development, product management, quality assurance and other engineering efforts.

We offer full product development including overall system architecture development, hardware and mechanical design and software development. What a typical day looks like:
Assist in developing engineering designs and implement engineering changes.
Maintain good communication skills internally and with customer
Track and document open issues internally and with customer.
Prepare RED Mark-up to support 2D release for wiring harness.
Coordinate with Application Engineers to communicate engineering changes and 2D print releases
Interface with systems engineers and 3D designers to develop and validate wire harness designs
Support harnesses build events and vehicle launches with customer.
Support/Maintain customer part release system and approval documents
Control and ensure compliance certification to government standards.
Evaluate information provided by the customer as applied to the product/project for completeness and accuracy
Prepare Design Failure Modes Effects Analysis.
Resolve product issues related to existing and new designs.
Involve in other functions within company and external suppliers on design-related matters.
Demonstrate regularly use and application of engineering principles theories, concepts and techniques.
Collaborate with design & analysis groups to create 3D math models.
Produce and utilize DVPR's for product validation.
Interface directly with external customer, customer engineers, and launch team
Communicate to customer the content and status of the design, design changes, and build requirements
Supports/Leads technical review
Manage design release cost including piece cost and tooling.
Evaluate prototype designs to verify functional requirements and conduct design revisions.
Ensure parts are delivered on time and to print working with manufacturing plant (Design review/inspections)
Generate cost savings ideas and attend VAVE (Value Analysis Value Engineering) workshops

Position: Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Internship
The MAHEC Pharmacotherapy department is seeking applications from University of North Carolina (UNC) pharmacy student candidates interested in pursuing a career in ambulatory care. This 6-week internship will provide the pharmacy student with the opportunity to engage in a structured learning experience and gain exposure to a broad range of practice sites and models of care.
Interns will devote time to observation of patient care with a licensed pharmacist preceptor, professional development and a longitudinal project intended to improve the quality of care provided to our patients. Specific activities include discussions regarding “hot topics” in ambulatory care, participation in primary care clinical meetings, inter-professional enrichment events and more. Candidates must be a rising sophomore, junior, senior, or post baccalaureate student enrolled at the University of North Carolina Asheville. The CIBC Summer Internship Program is designed to offer great work experience to complement students’ classroom training and career goals. Throughout the summer, interns will meet with our executive leadership team, network with employees and fellow interns, and participate in community outreach. We are devoted to finding, selecting, and training interns who will make a positive impact on our company while offering a full learning experience. Our Interns will work alongside a lean, proven team of investment professionals, gaining technical and analytical skills.
CIBC’s Summer Internship program runs for 10 weeks beginning in June 2024 through August. During this time, you will have access to training opportunities, mentorship, and leadership support.

What You'll Be Doing
CIBC’s Commercial Real Estate team is seeking a highly motivated intern for the 2024 summer with an interest in pursuing a career in commercial real estate or commercial banking. This position will work closely with all team members including relationship managers, asset managers, and other functional areas on a range of projects to support CIBC Bank USA’s multi-billion dollar national portfolio of commercial real estate loans.
The intern will gain hands-on experience in the Commercial Real Estate lending business through exposure to a wide range of team members and projects, and the opportunity to work on live deals alongside experienced Commercial Real Estate Lenders.
Support various projects for the Commercial Real Estate Lending group.
Assist in underwriting of live transactions. This may include market research, completing comparable transaction analyses, and Sponsor due diligence.
Preparation of internal memos and approval documents alongside relationship managers.
Perform market research and financial research regarding real estate transactions, supply, demand, and market trends.
Assist with collecting and organizing various data to support portfolio-wide analyses.
Special projects related to strategic initiatives to be determined based on needs of team at time of internship.
Who You Are
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and time-sensitive deliverables with a high degree of quality and accuracy.
Strong organizational skills, work ethic, team-approach, and detail-orientation required.
Demonstrated interested in commercial real estate or banking through previous coursework, extracurricular involvement, or work/internship experience to be given additional consideration
Undergraduate major in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar with a minimum GPA 3.0
