The duties for this position is written at the full performance level, Pay Band I.
You will serve as the senior advisor on the disbursement and control of grant-in-aid funds. Adheres to all federal laws, statutes, and orders as they relate to fiscal matters relative to the Airports Program
Provides comprehensive technical services on the control and disbursement of grant-in-aid funds. Tasks include but are not limited to, independently tracking and providing guidance to Management and the Field Office on the Airport Improvement Program, Office of Airports Audit Program, and serves as the liaison between the FAA and the Office of Inspector General concerning Regional Audits.
Provides technical expertise to management in analyzing and performing statistical evaluation of the grant-in-aid program for the Region.
Independently identify appropriate funds to ensure maximum utilization of each of the categories of funds available, and determines eligibility while processing grants.
Serves as the Regional Policy Expert and authority for the Office of Airports audit program and its implementation.
Provides input to the Region’s annual goals and objectives by suggesting possible areas for audit based upon problems uncovered during related audits.
Serves as the Regional Audit Program Manager responsible for developing, maintaining, and coordinating the financial audit program. This includes the Office of Airports grant-in-aid quality assurance functions. Serves as the liaison between the FAA and the Office of Inspector General for all program audits in the Region.
Participates in national teams to review current Airport Improvement Program policy and guidance. Makes recommendations for changes to national policy.

Serves as an Intelligence Operations Specialist for Cyber Intelligence to assess cybersecurity and emerging technology threats, risks, and vulnerabilities while working within a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) under the guidance of and in support of the Division Manager and team leader as part of the Cyber Intelligence Team within the Intelligence and Threat Analysis Division in the Office of National Security Programs and Incident Response. Analyze intelligence and information on cyber tactics, techniques and procedures which pose a potential threat to the National Airspace System (NAS), current/future FAA program initiatives, and the safety/security of civil operations worldwide.

Provide daily intel support to include time-critical Indications and Warning (I&W) and Indicators of Compromise (IOC) for the FAA Security Operations Center (SOC), NAS Cyber Operations Center (NCO), FAA leadership, systems security staff, other applicable FAA offices, the Department of Transportation (DOT), and interagency partners to warn of and contribute to mitigation measures for protecting against cyber attacks, emerging cyber threats, risks, and/or vulnerabilities.
Contribute to the development, delivery, and/or review of written products, oral presentations, and requests for information (RFI) responses about cyber threats to FAA equities, civil aviation, and the aviation ecosystem to support FAA and community partner (e.g. interagency, industry, and foreign counterpart) situational awareness, mitigation planning, and operational decision-making.
Support cyber strategy, policy, mitigation planning, and community messaging initiatives. Support the Cyber Intelligence Team, which is the FAA’s initial point of contact for cyber threat intelligence.
Develop, build and maintain peer-level liaison relationships within FAA Lines of Business and the DOT, along with counterparts in other national-level agencies, including those in the Intelligence Community (IC), Law Enforcement (LE), and Department of Defense (DoD) communities through daily collaboration and information sharing.
