You will have UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience of working in UK Primary schools. You will be expected to engage in scholarship related to pedagogy, and, as such, will be expected to participate in one of the School's the thematic areas for research, noting that any other independent research (beyond pedagogy) is not part of this post. The appointment will be on the University's 'Education Track' career path, which provides clearly defined opportunities for progression against defined criteria.

Summary, Focus and Purpose
At our Company's campus in Elkton, Virginia, we have an entry level position available to support and sustain our manufacturing processes. The manufacturing facility is located in the Shenandoah Valley along the Shenandoah River and the Blue Ridge Mountains a short distance from the University of Virginia and James Madison University.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply their enthusiasm and technical skills as a member of a multidisciplinary team supporting the operation of pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and vaccine product manufacturing facilities. You'll play a key role in expanding our funder base, focusing on strategically growing our income to enable SMG to draw people of all ages to engage with science in an inspirational and informal way.
About the role
Focusing on Trusts, Foundations & Government (TFG) funders, you will support team to raise multi-million-pound income. Managing a portfolio of TFG funder accounts, you will work toward delivering long term, high-value strategic partnerships and significant renewals. You'll provide effective account management and tailored stewardship, whilst developing your own portfolio of new business prospects.
Collaborating with other Development colleagues and key project teams, you will identify opportunities to support or enhance your diverse portfolio. You will also assist the team by being organised and accurate, ensuring accurate record keeping and reporting.
This is currently a 2-year fixed term contract, however there may be a possibility that we can extend the contract or make the position permanent at a later point.
