What will you do?
As a service Specialist you will be the trusted expert that provides installation, preventative maintenance and measures performance of coffee machines, juice machines, dishwashers, and chemical dispensing machines for a variety of customers including national accounts, healthcare, college and university, hospitality and large independent food service operators.
Position requirements:
Experience: 2 years previous customer service or equipment repair experience OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Mechanical Aptitude - electrical, plumbing, health and sanitation codes. Ability to correctly interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Ability to perform physical aspects of the job, including heavy lifting of machines.
Valid state driver's license (required).
Clean driving record (we will run an MVR).
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Successfully pass the drug screen, motor vehicle report (MVR) and background check requirements (criminal background check – we do not check your credit score)

Gordon Food Service is hiring an Liability Claims and Insurance Administrator. This candidate will provide administrative support in the areas of liability claims and insurance.
Responsibilities:
Administer the incoming claim reporting process and provide direction to GFS employees and/or 3rd party on claim handling process.
Administer the data input process involving claim activity to ensure proper claims activity documentation.
Obtain police reports and other investigative documentation for collisions and claims.
Provide support with subrogation claims activity involving property damage claims with 3rd parties.
Assist with running monthly/quarterly claims and insurance reporting.
Monitor and scan all incoming certificates of insurance.
Provide administrative support for insurance renewals.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Ideal candidate will have:
Vocational - Must possess empathetic skills while working with both internal and external customers
Reasoning - Must have the ability to problem solve
Communication - Must have good written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively over the phone
Self Management - Must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize
Experience:

The Customer Development Specialist - Program Sales provides business-consulting services to strengthen customer relationships and grow profitable sales. Represents Gordon Food Service products and services in assigned territory and accounts, seeking growth opportunities from existing customers and onboarding new customers to Gordon Food Service. Manages customer business relationships including accounts receivable, credits, lost business, growth, deployment of resources, and average order size/profitability.
What you will do:
Effectively tells the Gordon Food Service story and services accounts.
Travels through assigned territory to call on existing and prospective customers to maintain, seek growth opportunities, and increase profitable sales volume and to ensure contract compliance.
Manages customer business relationship including credits, lost business, growth, deployment of Gordon Food Service resources, and average order size/profitability.
Coordinates and conducts the demonstration and presentation of products and discuss applications, using samples or marketing materials emphasizing features based on price or value to customer business operations.
Create and deliver business plan based on customer needs, goals, and objectives.
Works directly with Regional and/or National chain account manager to execute strategic initiatives across concepts within units.
Directs and delivers consultative services such as GPO Maximation, menu engineering, wait staff and HAACP training. Consults with customers and network resources to fulfill operations and profitability needs.
Conducts CDS personal results analysis and planning at customer level.
Receives, discusses, and/or verifies order information with customers using appropriate method on a monthly basis to include customer credits to identify and establish sales performance goals.
Explains credit terms via established parameters and manages the collection of receivables using multiple methods to include electronic, mail and personal pickup of payments.
Identifies competition, customer purchasing patterns, performs customer sales history analysis, and observes and gathers data to determine the needs of customer operations.
Endorses and promotes NextGen and other technical solutions.
Develops and oversees customer segment shows and participates in customer events.
Collaborates with brokers to establish GFS products.
Performs other duties as assigned
What you’ll bring to the table:
Three to five years previous sales or business experience to include experience or an interest in food business practices and food preparation, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Must maintain a valid, unrestricted state driver’s license and safe driving record per GFS policy.

What will you do?
As a service Specialist you will be the trusted expert that provides installation, preventative maintenance and measures performance of coffee machines, juice machines, dishwashers, and chemical dispensing machines for a variety of customers including national accounts, healthcare, college and university, hospitality and large independent food service operators.
Position requirements:
Experience: 2 years previous customer service or equipment repair experience OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Mechanical Aptitude - electrical, plumbing, health and sanitation codes. Ability to correctly interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Ability to perform physical aspects of the job, including heavy lifting of machines.
Valid state driver's license (required).
Clean driving record (we will run an MVR).
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Successfully pass the drug screen, motor vehicle report (MVR) and background check requirements (criminal background check – we do not check your credit score)

Essential Functions:

Gordon Food Service is hiring an Senior Payroll Coordinator. This candidate will provide support for Payroll-related projects. Has knowledge of payroll functions and assists with questions, training and coverage, as needed. Creates standard and ad hoc payroll reporting and assists with streamlining processes and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Provides support, performs testing and guides programming changes for system upgrades/modifications and other Payroll-related projects.
Reviews weekly and Bi-weeky payroll output and handles payroll processing exceptions.
Responsible for working with the Benefit team to ensure proper processing of payroll deductions.
Responds to employee and HR inquiries via phone, fax, and email in a timely manner.
Works closely with Payroll Leads on Termination processing, vacation administration, and payroll balancing.
Performs special payroll runs and ad hoc reporting.
Works with the accounting team on issues related to general ledger accounts, assisting with balancing issues.
Provides support and coverage for other members of the Payroll Team.
Assists in training of new payroll team members.
Documents and maintains all payroll procedures.
Prepares payroll journal entries.
Works with Time and Attendance Administrator to backup processes.
Assist with special project rollouts.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Ideal candidate will have:
Strong problem-solving and customer service skills..
Developed math aptitude and strong understanding of accounting principles, payroll taxes and government payroll regulations.
Communication and interpersonal skills needed to represent the department and speak at minor functions.
Excellent time management and organizational skills necessary to meet deadlines.
Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and complete them under pressure.
Display strong presentation, change management, facilitation and collaboration abilities.
Detail oriented and accurate.
Strong team player.
Knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, email and internet software applications.
Knowledge of 10-Key calculator.
Experience with basic office machines (computer, fax, phone, etc.)
Workday software experience helpful, but not required.
ADP and BSI experience helpful, but not required.
