Job Responsibilities :
• Create competitive compensation packages, attractive benefits plans, and incentives aligned with industry standards.
• Create hiring plans for front-of-the-house and back-of-the-house staff
• Screen, interview and evaluate candidates
• Prepare job offers and employment contracts
• Calculate payroll considering overtime, holidays and evening shifts
• Plan attractive compensation and benefits packages to increase retention
• Manage payroll and keep updated records of payments
• Oversee employee attendance and working schedules including breaks, overtime and paid time off
• Schedule onboarding sessions and job-related trainings for all employees
• Track key recruiting metrics like turnover rates and source of hire
• Ensure our restaurant staff complies with health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry
Requirements and skills :
• Work experience as an HR junior / senior position, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Hands-on experience with recruiting for junior, senior, seasonal and part-time positions
• Good knowledge of regulations around flexible types of employment

This is a well established reputable public listed company, engaged predominantly in civil engineering and construction and real estate property development and management. Currently they are actively seeking to engage an experienced HR payroll officer to be part of their overall HR team. This position will be based at their corporate head office in Kelana Jaya, Petaling Jaya. The working hours: 8.30am-5.30 pm Monday-Friday.
About The job
Reporting to and work closely with the Payroll Administration Manager, this role encompasses all employee levels within the organization. As the Payroll Administrator, your primary duty will be managing the payroll and HR function ,this role will initially focus on payroll administration and reporting and workers compensation.
You will assist the Manager with basic HR administration and managing employee records. Your core responsibility will involve managing the day to day administration of payroll processing and benefits of approximately 400-500 employees/headcounts using payroll system Kaizen.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates with tertiary education qualification in HR Disciplines or Business Administration and have some experience in HR portfolio. In this instant, preferences will be Female candidate in age group 28-40.
Candidates with high volume/head counts payroll experience in previous employment will be a distinct advantage although not a must conditions as on the job training will be provided.
She must possess outstanding communication skills, verbal and written in English and conversant in BM and also proficient in Chinese/Mandarin.
To be successful in this role, you must be flexible and able to deal with all levels of people across the business.
