Primary Responsibilities:
Assemble all types of nautilus connectors and sub-assemblies.
Notify of errors on procedures, drawings, bills of material, and router to the support teams (Quality, Manufacturing Engineering).
Responsible for completing documentation (shop packs) accurate and timely.
Responsible for entering data into the IFS system accurate and timely.
Responsible for maintaining high quality standards and workmanship.
Maintain excellent communication and working relationship with all departments within the company.
Maintain a safe working environment.
Communicating special tooling needed to perform operation that may have not been identified.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma/GED
Experience with basic hand tools
Recent experience in an electrical or electronics manufacturing environment desired
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work safely with minimal or no direct supervision
Ability to work with changing demands in a fast paced environment
Ability to work from verbal directions
Ability to learn from peers
Common sense approach to troubleshooting
Excellent communication skills with both internal and external customers
Knowledge of MS Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Able to read technical drawings and electrical schematics, specifications and procedures
Ability to take constructive criticism from peers, leads and / or managers
Good math skills

This position is responsible for assembling electrical and fiber optic jumper and cable assemblies utilizing various mechanical and hand tools.
Measure, cut, prepare rubber hose, cable, wire for termination
Pull wire through hose ID and any attached hardware prior to soldering
Terminate hose and cable assemblies with machined hardware per procedure
Stretch jumper assemblies utilizing a forklift and load meter
Accurately report labor hours for each order
Ability to troubleshoot issues with little to no engineering support
Maintaining security for all quality verification equipment and its calibration control

Two year technical degree preferred
Recent experience in a mechanical, electrical or production trade

Ability to accurately read a tape measure
Ability to work outside for several hours during various weather conditions
Ability to stand for several hours
Ability to use hands in a continuous motion for several minutes at a time
Ability to work with changing demands in a fast paced environment
Ability to work from verbal directions
Common sense approach to troubleshooting
Ability to learn rapidly in an engineer to order production facility
Excellent communication skills with both internal and external customers
Ability to use mechanical and pneumatic tools required to assemble Teledyne specific product
Able to read technical drawings and electrical schematics, specifications and procedures
Computer Literate Working knowledge of MS Office programs, i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook
Ability to take constructive feedback from peers, leads and / or managers
Good shop math skills

Generate and maintain accurate production schedules for production areas.
Report on shop floor activities and performance to schedule
Coordinate emergency orders through the production areas
Maintain shop order accuracy. Work with the component shop to close shop orders in a timely manner and to insure the accuracy of the data on the order.
Work with production and planning teams to resolve scheduling and performance issues.
With consideration to internal capacity, load, and capabilities, outsource components to approved suppliers.
Effectively communicate changes in schedules.
Comply with, and assist in the enforcement of all company safety policies.
HS Diploma/GED (College Degree preferred)
Minimum 3-5 years of production planning experience with ERP/MRP systems and strong understanding of shop floor control activities
Willing to aggressively pursue APICS CPIM Certification
Excellent Organizational Skills
Computer Literate- proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel
Strong interpersonal communication skills- written & verbal.
Ability to work with little supervision in a fast-paced environment

Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Track and facilitate production of deliverable units through all manufacturing areas. Ensure all deliverable products are completed on-time.
Communicate problems quickly and to the appropriate contacts to ensure any issues slowing down or stopping production are resolved in a timely manner. If issues cannot be resolved immediately, monitor progress and push to a resolution.
Accurately update MRP (IFS) and Manufacturing Scheduling (WinMOPs) systems in a timely manner. Add production notes into WinMOPs daily so that any user can know the status of a deliverable line by COB each day.
Assist planning team with daily tasks. Attend planning meetings as needed.
Comply with, and assist in the enforcement of all company safety policies.
Maintain excellent communication and working relationship with all departments within the company.
Creates new shop orders, tracks shop order material complete dates and releases shop orders for kitting.
Aggressively tracks past due components and sub assembly shortages.
Education and Experience:
A.S. Degree, Technical Certificate or APICS CPIM Certification a plus
Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience preferred
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes and “best practices”.
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, value-stream mapping & business process mapping a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills a must
Excellent internal and external customer facing skills
Strong interpersonal communication skills - written & verbal.
