1. Responsibilities (Developer)

Working in a team to design and develop a real-time, reliable and secured e-payment devices that process millions of public transport commuters’ cards daily.

The activities required to be performed shall include the following:

• Requirements gathering.

Maintenance of ICT Facilities and Equipment

1. Work with DEs on all issues related to ICT facilities, such as Computer Laboratories and IT Rooms
2. Work with DEs on preparation of ICT facilities and equipment for Laboratories, IT Rooms, PCs and teachers’ notebooks, visualizers, projectors, etc
3. Work with DEs on all issues related to ICT equipment in the school
4. Regular checks on the Log in-out Files in Open Access Computer Labs, Monitoring the Usage of ICT facilities and equipment
5. Liase with external contractors to maintain AV/IT equipment

Administrative Matters

1. To advise teachers and students on the use of ICT for projects and presentations.
2. To coordinate and assist teachers in the conduct of the AV activities (providing AV support).
3. To assist in maintaining and updating the school website, PDLP microsite and FHBL Dashboard
4. To advise teachers on software solutions which will solve their problems
5. To be involved in the integration of ICT into curriculum, instruction and assessment.
6. Deploy booked iOS devices to classrooms.
7. Maintain the booking of resources on an online portal.
8. Design of PDLP posters and newsletters.

Miscellaneous

1. To provide additional support to school for important events such as video recording, photography, and AV support
2. To provide support for school’s presentation during major events
3. To assist in distribution and setting up of ICT equipment
4. To provide services for school functions on computer-related matter

The Role

The IT Administrator's role is to manage the day-to-day IT support in the Client Services department.

· Answer and log all support calls into the Helpdesk System

· Provide 1st and 2nd level support and escalate to the next level if problem cannot be resolved

· Setup and provide technical support for all computers standard software issues

· Procurement and disposal of all IT related hardware and software

· Source and obtain hardware and software quotations

· Setup and provide technical support for all office and production printers

· Provide support for Windows account management Video Conference and Mobile devices

· Maintain accurate IT and user inventory/data records.

· Coordinate with vendors for the procurement and servicing of IT equipment.

· Conduct analysis and troubleshooting for application and system failures.

Job Requirement

· Degree/ Diploma in Computer Information Technology

· Minimum 2 years of system administration experience in a medium size networking environment

· Hands-on experience such as Windows and Linux

· Experience with MS Outlook in a Microsoft Exchange Environment

· MS Office 2021 and/or Windows 10 OS and basic switches and networking

· Experience in Web Content Administration and Video Conference

· Able to troubleshoot hardware and software issues with minimum supervision
