As an IT specialist, you will be responsible for supporting QCP’s IT infrastructure and operations as well as business continuity controls on-premise and on cloud. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across IT and business to create and drive solutions to effectively address cyber security and business continuity risks, build trust, improve resilience, and achieve our business goals.

Role

●       Helpdesk and IT Service Management support

o   Provide first level support to QCP users for the remediation of IT issues across three shifts

o   Support user helpdesk requests, such as for account / access related issues, VPN and network connectivity, collaboration and productivity tools support, endpoint troubleshooting, etc.  

o   Ensure proper recording, documentation and handover of issues to the next shift

o   Monitor and report on IT service level trends and production incidents

o   Maintain IT Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and ensure that the CMDB is up to date

o   Support QCP IT change management process: ensure that changes are assessed, tested and approved before implementation

o   Manage after office hour emergency change

●       Incident and Problem Management

o   Follow up on incidents and problems to their resolution

o   Support QCP’s production and security incident management frameworks. Handle production incidents and ensure timely escalation of security incidents

●       BCM and IT DR Support

o   Support QCP’s Business Continuity and IT Disaster Recovery (DR) program. Assist in conducting and maintaining Business Impact Analysis (BIA) assessments, document IT system DR requirements, and provide IT DR program advisory support

o   Assist QCP’s testing of IT DR plans and resilience capabilities

o   Conduct periodic review of infrastructure to identify single points of failure and remediate them

o   Maintain central inventory of system data backup requirements; coordinate data backup and restoration testing

●       IT Ops Support

o   Support IT Security training and awareness sessions

o   Support regular risk reporting, such as Key Risk Indicator (KRI) reporting and audit point tracking

o   Support vulnerability scanning and coordinate penetration testing of on-premise and cloud workloads

o   Maintain IT outsourcing register and contracts. Support periodic Third-Party risk assessments and due diligence checks on vendors

• 2-3 years of working experience in Helpdesk, Server, Network, IT Service Management,  IT Disaster Recovery and/or IT operations capacity
• Strong inter-personal and communication skills
• Excellent strategic, problem solving, and analytical skills, with keen attention to details
• Exposure to DevOps, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure would be valuable

• KYC

• Perform KYC/CDD checks on new clients and conduct periodic reviews for existing clients. This includes reviewing client documents, name screening, adequacy of SOF/SOW corroboration, performing transaction review
• Identify potential risks associated with the business relationship and escalate any red flags or concerns
• Work closely with L2 and Compliance Team in Singapore to ensure a seamless onboarding and periodic refresh process for clients

• Reports to Head of Market Risk @ QCP
• Deploy C-VaR python prototype tool in production for QCP’s MM Options desk positions and Flow desk positions covering all instruments by Jun 2024.
• Instruments include exchange traded vanilla options, futures, spot and perpetual positions in addition to OTC vanilla options, structures, forwards and spot positions.
• Automated deployment should run on QCP’s AWS risk server and generate reports based on the EOD (8am SGT) daily position of desks, including weekends.
• Solution should enable accurate C-VaR attribution at currency pair, instrument type, deal and Greek sensitivity level
• Deploy fallback solutions in the event of primary server downtime.

C-VaR Reporting and Breach Monitoring

• Timely reports on C-VaR exposures and provide a short commentary on primary risk drivers for the exposures on weekdays
• Flag and analyse any C-VaR breaches in relation to prescribed C-VaR Limits
• Drill down to offending risks and positions
• Suggest strategies and timelines to reduce risks such that C-VaR exposures are realigned within limits
• Liaise with risk colleagues on any breaches by 9:30 am SGT

Support

• Maintain the infrastructure of the tactical C-VaR Engine solution
• Identify and troubleshoot any errors / failures / bugs with the C-VaR tool
• Source and populate any erroneous, stale or missing market data for the generation of an accurate C-VaR result
• Assist with migration of C-VaR Engine to the target state solution in C# by using the tactical solution to generate benchmark C-VaR calculations

As a Technical Program Manager at Primrose Capital, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of our technical programs. You will collaborate closely with software engineering, quant developers, product owners, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of projects. We're seeking a proactive Junior QA Analyst to enhance our tech-ops division. This role will not only involve a balance of manual and automated testing, with a focus on rigorously assessing trade booking features and our advanced client onboarding system, but will also encompass key DevOps responsibilities. The candidate will contribute to establishing and verifying performance metrics to ensure our platforms maintain the highest level of efficiency and reliability.

Role

• Conduct manual and automated tests on our trading platform features and client onboarding processes.
• Ensure the precise booking, settlement, and delivery of spot, futures, and options trades and transfers.
• Collaborate effectively with the tech-ops team to pinpoint and rectify defects.
• Develop, maintain, and verify performance metrics to monitor and improve system efficiency and reliability.
• Craft and maintain test cases, detailed specifications, and thorough plans.
• Deliver comprehensive reports on test coverage, optimization strategies, and actionable insights for system enhancements.
• As part of the wider tech-ops team, the role will also involve DevOps tasks, including system integration, configuration management, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

Our Ideal Candidate will possess the following skillsets:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in both manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Understanding of trading platform nuances, particularly related to trade booking.
• Strong analytical skills to develop, assess, and refine performance metrics.
• Ability to work seamlessly within a team and communicate effectively with various departments.
• Availability to work on-call during designated hours as part of a rotation.
• Some familiarity with automated testing tools like Playwright would be a plus.

Qualifications

• Serve as the first point of contact supporting our highest value customers and institutions on QCP’s various products
• Provide dedicated and prompt support to our institutional and VIP customers via different communication channels together with the trading desk
• Introduce QCP’s solutions to the client base across the globe

• Experience in real time client facing supporting functions, especially the high priority clients
• 2 to 3 years of experience in a sales coverage role in a Financial Institution Industry is preferred
• Detail-oriented, efficient and independent worker with good analytical skill.  Excellent team-work and communication skills
• Knowledge of derivative and other trading products is a strong plus, e.g. knowledge of options
• Outstanding problem solving capabilities including solving issues under high pressure
