Multi Skilled Engineering Technician

As a Multi Skilled Engineer your purpose is to provide high quality scheduled and unplanned/reactive maintenance across site. Actively identify root cause and bring the equipment back in to service as quickly as possible as well as seeking and identifying cost effective improvements to site assets and equipment, improving efficiency and reliability.
Key responsibilities as Multi-Skilled Engineer:

- Ensure that you are conversant with all drawing Electrical, Pneumatic and Mechanical.
- Basic automation skills for fault finding and remediation, strong electrical skills HNC equivalent, sound mechanical skills for diagnosis and replacement

Responsibilities


- Manually pack product into trolleys, ensuring the product is fit for purpose and highlighting any non-conformance
- Transport full and empty trolleys across the chill
- Operate and complete asset care/deep cleaning on equipment
- Ensures good manufacturing, housekeeping, hygiene, and health and safety standards throughout their shift
- Part of an effective hand over between shifts, remaining within the chill until a relief takes over

As a Multi Skilled Engineer you’ll provide, safe front line reactive maintenance. Actively identify root cause and bring the equipment back in to service as quickly as possible as well as actively seeking and identifying cost effective improvements to site assets and equipment, improving efficiency and reliability.

Key responsibilities as Multi-Skilled Engineer:

- To ensure effective handover of information across shift
- Uses PMS to support prioritisation and problem solving (RCFA)
- To diagnose faults and to test , repair and maintain Mechanical / Electrical equipment
- To observe, recognise and report on machinery or component defects or symptoms of impending failure and provide CMMS data
- Contact OEM's and other suppliers for technical support as and when required and expedite parts when not available on site
